Hotel Nityananda Residency - Hotel in Margao - South Goa, India

Rooms were big and clean. We saw cockroach in the room but they cleaned it immediately. Location is very good. We stayed for 2 days with kids and family, it was perfect. It might not suit very well for bachelors as the place is very calm. We didn't try food there but there's a kitchen and they provide food on order. The beds are good, we get a sofa, TV, fridge etc.,

Very Good VFM hotel. Rooms are very clean. Location is quite close to the railway station (around 3kms). Parking is available. (Tight fit for big Vehicles still manageable) Room ceiling is a bit on the lower side and beds creak when you move around (not a deal breaker). All in all a good place to stay at Margao Stay: Jun 2023 1 night Room: Ac Attic Family room (4 people) P.s: Hotel gate closed at 11pm and opens around 6:30-7am

The location of the residency in Madgaon city is convenient. But to enter the place for the first time, if you are in a MPV or any long vehicle, it would be challenging. In hindsight, one tip would be to take a wide left turn from the extreme right side of the road, as it is a one way, other than the continuous traffic, it would not be a problem. Inside the property, there was sufficient space for 3 cars to park and exit freely.Coming to the room, as we had booked an apartment, it was very spacious even for a family of 4. Cleanliness did not seem an issue. The mattress did not seem to be of a good quality foam and was already deformed and out of shape to begin with. There wasn't sufficient cushion to sleep on and it was hard. The extra mattress supplied was just ok. If you are traveling over a long distance and want a restful sleep, this is the last thing you would want. The fourth occupant had to use the Diwan as a cot, and it would be just okay for a 10 year old child.The bed linen and the towels were neat and there even was a towel / cloth stand to air the wet clothes.Just mentioning that complementary bottled water was not available. It would not be an issue to write about if this was not a standard in hotels, but it is a minimum common standard. The room walls were stained in many places. The baby mortice lock to the bathroom door was broken in two pieces but still remained fixed to the door and an additional dead bolt attached to both sides. The EWC was probably the smallest piece possible and other than kids, everyone else would find it uncomfortable to sit on. Hot water was available in the morning.Two dogs are there in the front yard, but they did not seem to be hostile / aggressive. We have had pet dogs at home for several years now, but not everyone is accustomed to dogs. Even we were quite hesitant to move around with kids in the front yard. Combined with the entering parking difficulty and the dogs, we were discouraged to step out in the evening after checking in.When we read the reviews before booking, many of them were waxing eloquent about this place but our experience was totally different.The property owner / manager seemed to be a friendly and courteous person.Having said that, we would definitely not stay again at this property. Can't recommend.

Had a very comfortable stay for a night. Value for money. Beautiful heritage property, neat & clean. Beautiful surroundings... Heritage structures around. Good walk around the area.

Best hotel in Margao city . Railway station is 2 km from the hotel and well connected to main roads. Rooms are clean and owner is very sweet talking. Will enjoy your stay .
