Hotel Nirvana - Hotel in Rishikesh - Tehri Garhwal, India

I have visited many hotels in life but I have never seen a place with a service as pathetic as this. The AC never really worked during my stay, the bathroom taps were leaking, there was nobody at the reception throughout, they kept hanging up my calls and finally when I complained, the manager said I only want money and you will have to pay. When I said I will check out, they said we don't care. I was with my parents and I had to check out at 11 PM. Absolutely disgusting!

No gyeser, no door mats outside bathroom, no RO purified water, no food only tea available, tv and ac were not working, no towels,no soap, no lift. Dripping taps in bathroom and dirty beds. The hotel is under construction and entire day one has to hear noises of drilling and smell paint...... Monkeys easily were approaching the door of the room and stealing away the clothes kept outside for drying. Posted fake photos of the property on air bnb. No kitchen. Took 1.5 hours for check in as the rooms we booked were not cleaned after others had vacant it. The person Mr. Sumit and Mr. Chetan are liers and totally ignored our complaints. Please search for other better options. Not recommended for family.

Never again! The manager took my phone as I was leaving saying he "needs to write a review". He picked another hotel for me to write a 5star review! AC did not work. No hot water in taps. We got dirty towels and sheets in bed were not changed. It is way overpriced for what you are getting. The only good thing about this place is the view. But that was beyond manager's control.

It was a very clean and room with good AC, a comfortable bed and otherwise basic ammenities. Our group enjoyed the view of the city from the balcony over drinks (that we brought ourselves). I would stay here again if back in town.

Arrogant owner with no sense of talking with customers....hastily prepared rooms with filthy smell....no hangers in wardrobe... charging points were not working...bathroom drainage was blocked and after complaining, owner started to argue and asked to leave the hotel....worst hotel ...

Visited once again... Happy to see improvements in the hotel... The rooms at the back and on the top offer an excellent view of Ganges and to give you the pleasure of the view, the hotel now has a special balcony with sitting. Prices have gone up a bit but considering the changes and improvements and the market prices still a better choice! Had a great stay!! (2018) Pocket friendly safe rooms. With cafes and Laxman Jhulla near by it is a good option.Had a comfortable stay. (2017)

Your trip becomes wonderful when you get a hotel like this one.. Everything is good in this hotel from location of room to room condition.. And very very thank you Rajesh sir for suggest us to do rafting with RED CHILLIES.. it was totally fun with maximum support and security in water during rafting..

Nice, humble and courteous staff. Reasonable and affordable costs. Clean rooms and all essential amenities available. Would definitely book again when goes to Rishikesh next time
