Hotel Nippon Palace - Hotel in Tharangambadi - Mayiladuthurai, India

Nice and well maintained hotel in sleepy town of tharangambadi. Visiting this hotel for day. Accommodation is neatly maintained and spacious. Only disadvantage is they don't have restaurant in hotel. It may be not be disappointment if you have your own vehicle. Ample parking space is available. Staff is helpful. Can recommend this place for future stay.

A very basic hotel in a very small town. It has no amenities as such, but the rooms are kept clean. It has no restaurant even. But the town is so small that there are no other hotels that compare, nor restaurants to eat. There is only one other hotel in town but that's a different class all together. Despite that the folks at the hotel try their best to take care of your needs. They made us coffee ever in the morning and arranged for breakfast from a local mess. Overall, 4 star because of it's tidyness and the helpful staff.

Positive: the place was right in the middle of the city cost was too good had suitable place for driver stay.. Negative: curtains in windows were very small hence privacy was an issue. no food was available. not even tea or coffee was available..

The rooms are well maintained and booking price is affordable. They only accept cash, which is a hiccup. They don't provide food. The hotel has gated parking area and good to stay in. The receptionist is helpful and friendly.

Clean rooms & toilet, friendly staff, located by the highway, so maybe a bit noisy to some. There is no restaurant so for good food you may have to go to a nearby town, we drove to Karaikal (11 km /20 mins) and had awesome Chettinad food at Karai Chettinad Palace. Awesome mutton kheema dosa, prawn roast, sear fish fry.

Decent hotel with reasonable prices and parking available. BUT no food or even a cup of tea available here. Which is a major drawback. One can have tea/coffee in the nearby market but for food there are only 2 small shops, with not much variety, near the fort entrance to eat.

Both AC and Non-AC rooms are available there. Rooms are somewhat clean for their price range and suitable for guest stays overnight. They provide morning complementary tea/coffee.

It very good hotel service is good famous often used by the traveller ,good opportunity for the having sea food and easily visible from normal traffic and toilet facilities are available.
