Hotel Nila Residency - Hotel in Shoranur - Palakkad, India

In a small town like shornur it's an ideal place very near to the railway stn, quite neat n clean with enough parking space. The space is good enough to have a lunch or dinner in a calm n cool environment.

The locks dont work, the telephone doesnt work we had to ask them to get towels and soap, the hot water did not work at night. The toilet door lock doesn't work. The hotel screams for a renovation! Disappointing!

Restaurant nice and good without much crowd . Can enjoy food in a calm and quiet atmosphere. Tasty dishes but chicken chilli need to improve, it can be made little more tastily. We had our lunch there and quiet happy with the food and service there. Staff also nice . Will be visiting soon again. Thank you.

Location is good, attended a metting, beautiful hall and reception . food and service good.

Worst service . Manager Jithin is worst. He has gundaa hired for bar.

Had a lunch experience at Nila while travelling. The food is not bad, the porotta we had. The curries taken on the day would be rated average in comparison with the rates they charge. Can't be certain regarding other items that we didn't try. The cleanliness and behavior of staff is appreciated

This used be a good hotel serving good food. But recently stopped by the hotel for breakfast. And the experience was very poor. The tables weren't cleaned.The spoons and plates were dirty.Had leftovers from dinner. The staff was not properly groomed and moreover the food was not at all tasty. Had skipped some good hotels on the way just to have this experience. Not going to come back again.

1. Rooms are filthy and stained. 2. Rooms are not at all maintained. 3. Hallway on the 2nd floor smell urine. 4. Avoid rooms on the 2nd floor or avoid hotel completely. 5. Suite room are not up to the standard. 6. Since the hotel has bar on the ground floor, families with ladies have to go through the prying eyes of the drunkards whenever they go to reception or parking. 7. Only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to Shoranur Railway Station.
