Hotel New Sanman. - Biryani restaurant in Karad - Satara, India

Found a cockroach in my mutton thali. No heigene at all. I told this to staff and then owner, he replied ' might have fallen'. Didn't received bill. Served quantity is less. Plastic tables shake all food. No feedback book is kept. Total mismanagement. I wonder how this hotel got even 4 stars. Its not even worth a star. I advise not to visit this hotel, you and your family will definitely regret this later. Worst experience faced ever! Completely reject it.

I rate this place a 5 because I am indebted to its owner for having helped us by providing food at the late midnight hour at 12 p. m . My family and I were running late and there was no food to be had as all restaurants had closed. I had eaten at Sanman before and had called them on phone, to keep the place open till we turned up and that's what they did. This is an instance which has made me utterly gratified to them. Ofcourse the food they serve is the authentic taste of South Maharastrian cuisine; tasty, spicy and full of soul. One should try out the mutton thali here because this is the obvious hero of the menu, with bowlfulls of tambda and pandhra rassa. They take special care that you leave there restaurant satiated and ready to come back for more. Truly love this place and I make it a point to have a special slot made for lunch/dinner here while on this route between kolhapur to pune..

The best place to eat Butter chicken and Mutton Dam Biryani ,the taste is best as well I love the way they serve , I bet you will never find the butter chicken tastes better than NEW SANMAN HOSTEL KARAD , it's located on Pune Bangalore Highway, once you visit there you will never forget the taste of butter chicken and remember the taste till the death

Quality of Food here is very nice and very tasty too that to in reasonable rate.... We had nonveg meal here and everything was very tasty even solkadhi... I recommend this place...

I ordered chicken thali they gave mutton thali. On top of this waiter asked not to tell at the counter. Good job mate. Their price for chicken thali is way more than the quality they provide. Worst Pandhara rass i have ever seen. You should go to this place only if you hate your body.

Best in taste ....one of the best biriani I have ever had. It's little expensive. 300 to 500 Rs per head.

The best thali i have had in recent times .. a must stop place on way to Goa or kolhapur... We plan our lunch / dinner around this place now. The pandra Rassa is worth every penny...

If you go once I am 100% sure you should be addicted!!! Superb quality service and food. Tambda rassa & Pandhara rassa take you to food safari. Chicken quality absolutely brilliant with spices. All type food you can eat here. If missing village recipes then this place will fullfill your wishes. I loved this place.
