Hotel New Horizons - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

We stayed in this hotel with our family. Rooms are spacious with good view of the sea. location is great. the staff is very helpful, prompt in their service,they provided room cleaning everyday during our stay. Only downside is that they don't have a restaurant in the hotel itself but there are many eateries nearby so it doesn't become that much of a problem.

One of the best hotel in Marine drive beach Puri. Excellent view from the room,even from the last room also. Wonderful terrace. One can enjoy Sunrise and Sunset over there. Rooms are very spacious and the interior is too good. Staff are very prompt. Bt no resturant in this hotel. This is not an issue as famous resturants are just one step down from the hotel. Staffs also bring the food for you..

NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL worst experience. I Checkin on 29th May, was given a room on the top floor. At 2pm they switched off the AC, they said generator does not support AC, when i asked why was i not told about this today morning before making the payment at the hotel, they said today unfortunately there is a electricity disruption, as if this hotel is in London or New York:( they are cheats don't stay at this hotel. Hotel does not have resturant, parking is cramped. It is now 9.29pm still no AC in the room , i asked for a mosquito repellent refill 2 hours ago. The staff though is polite, poor fellows have to bear the brunt of customer frustration. The hotel owners are probably politician so what can you expect from them :( Finally checked out today morning to shift to another hotel. Worst hotel experience in my life.

Not a good hotel considering the price. I stayed for a night. I selected this hotel as I was looking for a hotel near the beach and a secured parking. While the location is really good, the failed to provide safe parking as promised. Other than that the room was ok in terms of size but there was absolutely no view. The bathroom was really really small. And the hotel doesn't have any restaurants. You can order food from the next restaurant and they will serve food in plastic containers without any plates. Considering the 4K charge/ night I don't think I shall select this hotel again

Very bad cleaning processing. Not good place for a kid . Bathroom sower didn't work. TV was not working. Jitu the general secretary was a not good person. His behaviour was too much bad with the customer. Others stuff its ok. Owner haven't any steps for that's matter. I requested to the owner please handle that's all tha matter. Thank

***Not Recommended, super bad experience*** I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my family & kid. Will provide my honest feedback without any biasness. 1) The bathroom cleaner would ask for tips on a daily basis. & he won't clean dustbins until asked explicitly. Even though you deny the tips by saying something, he won't mind asking for it again on the next day, which was very frustrating. 2) The AC was not working properly. Had to call the stuffs to fix it. 3) The TV stopped working 3/4 times in my entire stay, and again had to call the stuffs to fix it. 4) The housekeeper won't clean the room perfectly. Had to ask explicitly to clean things. 5) If you ask the bathroom cleaner to clean things more than 1 time in a day, you would be questioned that was it not cleaned in the morning etc. 6) Two other stuffs(non-bathroom) asked for tips without creating any great impression about their work, which I didn't like because they only cared about money & more money, and not about the hospitality of the guests. 7) The power was gone in the late night(3AM), and the security guard didn't start the generator, rather was sleeping. I had to go down & wake them up to put on the generator, which they did without being sorry about it. 8) When we entered the room on the first day, found out empty cigarette packet, some other stuffs, so room was not properly cleaned. 9) I got afraid asking for any extra hospitality support, because every time they look for tips. Although as per them, all the extra services were available (for example - asking for cleaning the room 2nd time etc.) 10) The person who was giving demo about the room on the first day seems very disinterested and was getting annoyed with some questions. The demo didn't go well, because he didn't cover all the facilities of the room dedicatedly. Final Feedback : Definitely it was not a good experience, when you pay 3500/night & being asked for tips without getting a great experience! Not recommending this hotel, although it's just beside Swargadwar.

The room is not at all well maintained, broken balcony doors , torn wallpapers, water is salty basically they charge the money but they don't maintain the rooms. Apart from this the manager's behaviour (Mr. Vikram Padhi) is horrible and unacceptable, ridiculous behaviour even to the regular guests . The other staffs are fine but there should be steps taken about the managers horrible treatment towards the guest. I would request the owner to look into the matter. Also others who have experienced same behaviour from the manager write it here.

It was excellent service by hotel staff....they are most responsible and kind people..
