The gentleman at reception was quite friendly and a good man. He was kind enough to give us the room, we wanted. The Room has 3 double cots as per our requirement but unfortunately it rained that day and water started to flow inside the room. Very old building. Definitely not for six people. They should make arrangements for another toilet. One is never enough for everyone. It was very difficult to stay.

Restuarant was good. But the culture less rude watchman in the restaurant is very pathetic.. the whole name of this hotel will shut off if such person is their watchman... v wr 3women and 3men with kids. Had very indecent behaviour from the watchman...

Very near to Madurai jn.(only 3-4 mts).2 hotels attached. Very long tradition,old blg.good surrounding, walkable distance to temple.rates are higher when compared to facilities.(i feel).you can stay with family. Complementary breakfast is provided.

We stayed there on our vacation , walkable distance from the station , college turned to hotel . I feel its like a dharamshala , if u are really in a tight budget , u can prefer the rooms , they are old rooms with everything old . But if u are travelling as a large group . Totally recommended hotel. They provide free breakfast and it was good . The rooms are dingy but livable for a night.

Think at 2k you should be happy as it is walkable from station. If you have 4 to 5k budget then you will be better off elsewhere. It is a college turned hotel and steps all over. Interesting...But I still think they can maintain the place a little better than what it is. Hot water missing or not working...

Worst place old building, worst service. I came here for writing exam the next day but couldn't sleep at night mosquitos throughout the night got very frustrated , also very high cost they charged 1500 for double bed. Many other good hotels are there nearby just 80 meters away. Please go there they are asking only 700 for double bed.

Do not spoil your mood by opting to stay here Very poor sanitation in washrooms. The rooms are very old and poorly maintained. The air conditioners belong to 20th century so they never work as intended. Paid full premium for AC rooms and stayed without AC for the whole night.. Worst part is that the management was way too reluctant to address these issues. Couldn't rate 0, so sticking with 1. Only reason to stay is parking and the location..

This is the best place to stay if your new to Madurai... and visiting temple. I stayed there for a day over night.. The room was neat and clean and very decent. The staff behavior's are very genuine and polite. Reception was excellent. Appreciate Everyone..
