The New Badariyya Hotel is well-kept and offers good service. They serve tasty food, with indoor seating for 30-40 people. They're known for their Kuttan chaps and porotta. We tried Kuttan chaps, liver roast, porotta, and tea. The liver roast and tea were especially delicious. The Kuttan chaps had a bit too much coriander flavor, but the meat was tender and tasty. They also have dishes like Mutton Kuruma, Puttu, Vellayappam, Neychor, and Biriyani (one option). Prices are reasonable. You'll need to find street parking. They accept UPI payments.
Neatly maintained. Well services. Good quality food. Its a must try food location around. Kuttan Chaps, Mutton Kuruma and Liver roast with Puttu, Porotta and Vellayappam are beautiful combinations. Neychor and Biriyani (one item) available for lunch. A nice place to fill hunger and mind. Loved it.

Hotel New Badariya is a simple Village restaurant located at Alingal. The old style set up brings the nostalgic memories of past. Dishes like Porotta, Mutton - Kutton Chaps & puttu available from the early morning onwards. This restaurant came to fame through videos of vloggers. The place is a good spot to have some thing in this route. I had ordered Porotta and Mutton Chaps from here. Taste and quality wise I felt average, didn't meet my expectation according to the hype in the social media.
Small resturant, seems like an old tea shop. Tried porotta, puttu, mutton chaps, kuttan (calf) chaps and tea. Mutton chaps was very tasty, most recommended dish, porotta, puttu and tea were tasty & kuttan chaps was average. Rates are very reasonable. Congested & busy roadside shop with no parking facility is an issue.
Very small place but amazing breakfast with mutton dishes....!! Very rich taste and really cheap pricing. Only parking a big problem.
