HOTEL NATIONAL PARK - Hotel in Ettumanoor - Kottayam, India

I had disappointing experience at the hotel. The service provided fell well below my expectations, and it affected my overall stay. Firstly, it's disappointing to mention that one of the rooms i booked was unusable due to strong cigarette smell. It's concerning that the reception staff's solution was to simply offer room freshener rather than take steps to address the underlying issue. This kind of service is unacceptable and falls far below what I would expect from a 3-star hotel. Furthermore, it's troubling that the second room provided was not suitable for my needs as a family. Providing a room meant for differently abled people may not have been the best solution for my particular situation. It's important that hotels understand the needs of their guests and provide accommodations that meet those needs. Despite the hotel's shortcomings in terms of service, the location of the hotel is convenient if you plan to visit Ettumanoor temple. However, this alone is not enough to make up for the poor service i received. Check out the height of the wash basin. I had to kneel down just to brush my teeth. Overall, my experience at the hotel was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

Well maintained, well furnished, rating is a 4 star hotel but look likes a 5 star hotel . Food items were incredible . We had a very nice experience, centre of the ettumanoor town have hundred car parkings . Staff are well experienced, friendly and loving .

This hotel is located in Ettamanur in Kotayam. The rooms are clean. The Toilets are clean and tastefully done. Fairly large rooms with coffee and tea making facilities. There is also an attached Bar . The locals come in for local the local cuisine. A good place for families. The food is also served in the rooms.

Visited the place at the beginning of 2023. There were construction works ongoing on the ground floor and it seemed creepy while approaching the hotel at first look. However, the rooms were great with all the facilities. Suggestion: It would be good if the administration can avoid charging for drinking water considering it an essential commodity for everyone.

This is on highway and easy to approach. We took 6 hours stay through mmt as hotels wont give early checkin. Hence we got down from bangalore to kottayam bus here at hotel. Got room in less than 10 mins. Freshen up. And visited famous mahadayi temple which is walkable distance. You will get autos or city buses to visit nearby ksrtc busstand. We got a smoking room hence smell was there. However as we stayed there only for freshen up it was okay. Room was well equipped with toiletries and coffee tray etc., Tips: If you have own vehicle surely stay here . It will be bit difficult if you rely on public transportation and want to visit other places near kottayam. Ask for a non smoking room.

Excellent and well presented rooms. Friendly service team too. However, due to renovation works at night, power was fluctuating and was on/off many times. Prime location with good car park. Will visit again.
