Hotel Naren Palace - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

Rooms are Good and not much Spacious...Staff is good / Food is Good( Veg )... Overall Experience is Fine.

During our recent visit to Puri, we had the opportunity to stay at Naren Palace . Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was less than satisfactory. The following are the main aspects that left a lot to be desired: Room Condition: The rooms at Naren Palace were not up to the mark. We noticed a distinct smell in the room, which was quite unpleasant. It seemed like the room hadn't been properly aired out or cleaned. This dampened our overall impression of the hotel. Washroom Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the washrooms was disappointing. We expected a higher level of hygiene, but unfortunately, it fell short of our expectations. The washrooms were not properly maintained, and this made our stay uncomfortable. Food Quality and Taste: Another letdown was the quality and taste of the food provided by the hotel. We found the food to be subpar, lacking in flavor and overall satisfaction. This was particularly disappointing, as we had hoped to enjoy some delicious meals during our stay. Considering the aforementioned factors, we regret to say that we cannot recommend [Naren Palace for future stays. The issues we encountered with the rooms, washrooms, and food quality significantly impacted our overall experience. We believe that improvements in these areas are necessary for the hotel to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for its guests.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days and was overwhelmed by their service and cleanliness. As it is far from maddening crowd of Swargdwar, it was a peaceful stay. Nice rooms, well maintained swimming pool, delicious food, great service. Thank You Hotel Naren Palace , Puri, for making our stay a memorable one

I had a good experience staying at this hotel. I booked the super deluxe room with a sea view. The room was quite big and spacious. The room was neat and clean. Bedsheet, Blanket, pillow everything was clean and hygienic. The washroom was also neat and clean. Room service was good during my stay. There were some negative points like the TV remote and DTH remote were not working properly. Hotel management should replace it with a new one. The internet was working fine. Food was really tasty ( i would rate it 5 stars for food). Hotel staff are polite and try their best to fulfill your requirements. The swimming pool was on the roof top and had access timings from 6 AM to 6 PM. Overall i am happy with the hotel service and stay.

1. A terrible smell was coming out of the room which was allotted to us. Even after the staff sprayed the room freshener the smell was still there. 2. The smell was coming from the sofa seats present in that room, instead of changing the sofa they just put a cover on top of it. We had to go to the market and get a Godrej Air freshener pouch and put it in the room, otherwise it was not possible to stay there. 3. We stayed only for one night/day, While checkout, they added a lunch receipt of 750+ on our bill which was strange as we didnot have lunch or dinner at the hotel. It took 30 minutes for them to figure out it was a mistake and it delayed our checkout. 4. Breakfast was not good as well, not worth of 250 rupees per person at all. Not even 50 rupees if i would say 5. Hotel is present in a very narrow lane, its very difficult to park and drive the car near the hotel, we had to take auto to go around the city while our car was just parked in the hotel.

maybe in a while from now your experience there might be alright, but right now, we were put in room right next to renovation work and the rooms were unbelievably dusty all the time. no amount of mopping or cleaning does anything to make it better. there are crickets in the room and bathroom in the nights. the service was alright but what's the point if the room you're staying in is this bad? the day we arrived even the floor mats were dirty. it's not fair to charge people to stay in musty rooms.

Overall, our stay was satisfactory. The food was great. Rooms were good. Water heater (Kettle) was there in the room. Sea view from the balcony and room was good. But the Room service was lazy, the kettle still had pre-made stuff from the previous visitor, which wasn't cleaned. The bathroom was smelly, seemed like it wasn't cleaned properly.

Need to improve the Food quality as the Breakfast was not soo tasty, also in the Room there should cleaniness which was missing Overall if the Stay is for 1 or 2 Days then we can Manage.
