Hotel Nandan - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

The rooms are quiet small and old fashioned. The service was very unprofessional for a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was fine enough with as usual items. Checkout was quick. The location is at the heart of Paltan bazar. You get quick access to many things.

It was a truly wonderful and pleasant experience staying here as all the staff; each one of them are very polite and well groomed and well trained. Loved interacting with Mr. Joy as he is extremely warm and convincing too. Many thanks to the entire Nandan Team. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves good hospitality in Gauhati.

One of the oldest classy ones in Guwahati. Situated at a very good location, bus stand & railway station is very near. Food was awesome, ambience is great, toilets are very clean and hygienic too. The staff was good and service was prompt.

Very nice,nice stay and excellent food . Hospitality was on its peak.Loved the stay .It's just home away from home.Will always choose Nandan.

We stayed for a night from 29th to 30 Sept'23 and it was a nightmare in true sense. We had to leave early in the morning for Kamaksha Mandir, so we went to bed at 9:30. But different noises kept on crippling in the room continuously from the adjoining room. I informed house keeping and got to know that the adjoining room next to ours (Room no. 310) was not a room for guests, but belonged to operations of room service. He assured me of looking into it. No improvement happened even after 3 more calls to House keeping, Reception & Room service, and thereafter personally discovering a full house of room service staff working in the adjoining room with numerous utensils being washed, handled, shelved, producing all kinds of noises, on top of it with a printer's recital alongside. The GM and his staff only made a drama of apologising but did not stop the activities even after several requests. After their such a behaviour, we went back to bed at 12 midnight but without a sleep that was much needed before getting up on alarm at 3 am. A gross violation of hospitality norms is observed at this hotel where they have housed internal operations amongst the rooms for the guest, probably at each floor, with no discipline at all on closure of such activities by 9 pm or earlier so that guests are not disturbed. Will suggest everyone to avoid a stay at this hotel until they realise and change the age old system thoroughly. Before such a nightmare, we gave its restaurant an "excellent" category on feedback as the food was really awesome, and we stand by it. We had lunch at the same restaurant the next day also before checking out.

Room is very nice. This is my first visit in Hotel Nandan. Very good ambience in hotel. Situated in very prime location near to bus stand and Railway station. Helpful staff and service was prompt. Food is very delicious.

Like always, it was a memorable experience dining at Hotel Nandan's restaurant 'Transcurry'. The food was delectably awesome. The ambience is always superb, the staff are extremely courteous and welcoming; making you feel completely at home. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hugely recommended.

For corporate peeople visit location is very good. But the room cost compared to what u get is not good. Breakfast is very nice. Service is also good.
