Hotel Nalanda - Restaurant in Ottapalam - Palakkad, India

One of the best multi cuisine restaurants in Ottapalam town. Located two kilometers from the heart of Ottapalam, left hand side towards Palakkad just after Pallikkayattam bus stop. Tasty food, Good atmosphere, Best service, More seating space... We tried Wheat Parotta, Kerala Parotta, Pepper Chicken, Lemon Mint Juice, and Lemon Tea. No doubt, the food was super tasty, and the side dish wes also. Plenty of seating spaces in the main restaurant area. Cleanliness and individual attention to customers are commendable. Cost wise it's not expensive, The only negative felt is the hand wash and toilet facility is outside of the restaurant.

Had tried chicken biryani ,chatti chor ,fish meals for lunch ,special falooda,mint lime. Chatti chor and chicken biryani is a must try and nothing to say anything negative. Would suggest and recommend to try .

Could have given 4 stars but reducing 1 star for the customer service provided in front reception. Was highly crowded when we went no seat available. We informed only 3 people and we wait. That was a no care attitude. We told them if any one getting down please inform us. I don't think it is a good attitude to stand behind people who are having food and wait so that they get up and you get seat. 2 family came after us and they did same and when we asked the reception they said here you follow this to get seat. I happened to visit here midst of a journey and I must say this place is so good. The hotel will first invite you with a very cool ambiance inside. Then you will be attended by some friendly staffs. Then comes the good part, the food. I was with my family and we order the Al faham Manthy. It was super delicious. I noticed the names of some special dishes written on there board and will love to try it out one day.

Best food with great service and had a nice ambience to it. We went with family and had ordered a variety of cuisine items. The highlight for me was the Beef Biriyani which was excellent for me. The bread items such as Naan, Kulcha, Buttoori also were good accompanying with their Alfahm. The chinese varieties Schezwan Fried Rice was average spicy and chilli chicken good have been better. Had a nice experience going out.

Hotel Nalanda is a great place where both veg and non vegetarians can try a variety of food. The ambience is good and service is also great. Parking and washroom facilities are also available. I think from the menu they could have improved the Kebabs as I feel it is not the authentic one which we see in other restaurants. Also some items are not available such as the Chicken Wings. Otherwise the restaurant is perfect place to enjoy great food.
