Hotel Mount View - Hotel in Sonamarg, Forest Block - Ganderbal, India

The hotel is aesthetically constructed, and has a stunning view of the snow capped mountains right in front, and a river on the other side. The breakfast was tasty, and the staff friendly. They can be better wrt cleanliness tough.

Mount view hotel is not as expected. Rooms are not clean and the ceiling is not maintained well. Bed is very bad. Dis-comfort in sleeping as the bed is in proper proportion. Up and down.spring pokes. Had a very bad experience staying here.plz avoid this place.

The stay at Mount view hotel was very good and comfortable right from checkin. The view was awesome . The added advantage was the electric blanket facility which helped us in the cold weather. The rooms were clean and tidy, well cooperated staff supported us for the entire stay. They have permitted us to do the checkout at 2:30pm at no extra cost. We visited the hotel in October 2022. Location of the hotel is awesome. Just centre of sonmarg. The hotel is sorrounded by mountains. Sind river is also flowing nearby. On the front side of the hotel you can find beautiful snow capped mountains. Way to the thajiwas Glacier begins just few meters away from the hotel gate. Overall, one can have a great view of sonmarg from the hotel. Coming to the amenities, rooms were very specious, well decorated and comfortable with all amenities required for a cold place. They have centralised room heater in every room. Also they provided electric blankets in every room. Washroom was clean with hot water. We had pre-booked our foods at the time of booking. It is reasonable price if you pre-book otherwise foods are bit costlier than other places in Kashmir. But the quality of foods were awesome. They always served hot and freshly prepared foods. Foods were tasty and delicious. All staffs were very courteous and friendly. It was a great experience with them at hotel mount view. Hotels in sonmarg are costlier than other places. But we found this hotel really value for money and perfect for stay with family. If you are with your family and plan to stay at Sonmarg, this hotel is recommended.

Worst management & Resvation Staff. This is inform to all travel agents this hotel is dangerous for business I called them for booking & they gave me the LOCAL TAC RATE 6000 MAP & when customer checked inn the hotel as walk inn they offer him 4500 MAP on the same day. Either the staff is taking booking as NO SHOW booking or management is poor & unprofessional...

Awesome location offering a nice view of snow clad peaks . Food is good but with limited options for breakfast . Have given one star less rating for poor facilities in room . Specially none of the adaptors or plugs work properly and they need to improve . Some rooms were stinky too .Overall good for stay with family provided they will take care of maintaining facility .

The service is extremely nice under the supervision of their manager Krishna. The rooms are good with nice view of hills and river. The restaurant is good too. Thoroughly enjoyed my vacation.
