Hotel Mount Valley - Hotel in Jeypore - Koraput, India

Value for money is 4/10. Staff is not sufficient. The room is smelling. Basically it's run as OYO hotel. They don't expect any customer to stay long so maintenance is very low. They don't even have a fridge in his kitchen. I call them for a glass but the answer is "Now we have only plastic glasses". Note: Before check out you must check your bills ( I got 2 false bills and my friends got 7-8 false bills).

Reached hotel around 9pm on 24th Oct, 2023, my experience started from the reception, I was given a suite which was only available at that point of time for Rs.2500/- per night with complimentary two 10Rs water bottle, two 5Rs chips pkt and in breakfast (oily paratha and oily aloo muttor curry). Above mentioned water bottle and breakfast will be given on request that too so late that you may not want to wait. So called Suite Room condition is pathetic, no latch in bathroom door from inside, water flow was very slow in the washroom. No tea is provided in the morning which is a genuine ask from any Indian guest atleast, won't talk about foreigners. Very poor room service, not availed their lunch or dinner service, one towel and one small soap was given in the room on the first day, thereafter despite asking them for second towel and more soaps, it was unheard off by the hotel staff. I traveled along with my family, me, my wife and my two kids (daughters). I would never suggest or recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have travelled every month for the last 7 years . Never face the problem the service is very very poor even though they haven't noticed me that after 24 hours they will be charged for 2 days . I have stayed at so many hotels in jeypore after 24 hours they just allow me to stay at least 2 to 3 hours but this one ufff . The night receptionist has no manners about how to talk and solve problems .

Room Service and receptionist behaviour is rude including behaviour of its manager. Not supportive. It's costly compared to the room comfort.

There is an outlet conveniently located near Khajuri Pond. The food is delicious, but the excessive noise from the music makes it difficult to have a meaningful conversation with the shopkeeper.

Absolutely worst rooms. Rooms are not clean and full of dust. They provide beddings which seem to be not cleaned for at least a month. It's a typical OYO hotel. Not good for friends and family. If you want to talk to rude managers then only book the room. They charged us fine for any random reasons. They offer rooms at lower price and extrct money from you in terms of fines. Even though they have gpay available they make you pay via cash.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room service is trash. The bedsheet and the blanket were not dirty. Reception is really disrespectful, arrogant and very rude towards guest. Food delivery is late to the rooms. And are very over-priced according to quality and quantity. Make you pay unreasonable fines for silly things.

Great ambiance... Behaviour of owner and staff also very good nice rooms.. but the Problem location is not good for any fastfood or something for this you have to travel more than 2kms this hotel is too far from main market... But this is 1 of the best hotel to stay in jeypore....
