Perfect for a stay near the airport and near the metro station. Unfortunately, the cost is much higher than for other hotels of this level of comfort, cleanliness and service. Detailed review 1 ROOMS The room smells of some chemicals used to clean the floor. Very strong smell, gave me a headache on the first night. Not ventilated at all, actually. No windows probably because the buildings next to this one are too close to each other. There was only lukewarm water at night for a bath. Tried whatever they could but best maximum some 30-35 degree water...My friend in another room only had body temperature or cooler water. The room was spacious, and well equipped, but the smell of the cleaning chemical was a bit too much for me. Tried to open the door for a while only to let in some mosquitos! Sad. 2. SERVICE Was so-so, there was very little information while checking in about wifi, room key card, etc which made things a bit confusing. Otherwise, decent polite and respectable gentlemen one time and lady the other time at the reception. 3. Location Excellent location, metro station right next to it, large road nearby, taxi, auto easily found. No proper parking available though, and pick up and drop is a bit difficult. Overall will recommend for the convenient location, but not for anything else.

Near to airport, costly, as it is in prime location.... Ordered room for 3 adults and I got a small room and they put one mattress on floor and said that's for 3 PPL now... Staff need to be polite.... Only suggestion if u want ur hotel to have good and more customers please have staffs who can speak and understand multiple languages... Atleast in the reception have staff who can speak fluently Tamil,Hindi and English so that it will be easy for customers....

Located on the highway leading to Chennai airport which is only about five kilometres away. Rooms, lobby and corridor are neat and clean and well maintained. Because of its congested location good view is not available from the rooms. The restaurant being situated in the basement gives no outside view. The food served is just okay, nothing noteworthy. All the services provided are satisfactory. Altogether value for money.

The hotel is really good, staff is good. But the most positive point is that it is very near to metro station from where you can take the metro to Chennai Central or airport. Rooms are also nice & spacy. Overall a good experience.

I stayed in the hotel for only for a night due to location advantage. Hotels that charge the same price offer spacious rooms compared to Hotel Mount Manor. The main negative with the hotel is the receptionist by name Priya. I have never seen such an arrogant, indecent and egoistic receptionist. I checked in midnight around 1 a.m. I did not have their breakfast due to the poor quality. The check-out time is 12 p.m. When I requested for a late check-out option (an additional one hour stay, i.e. till 1 p.m.), which most of the hotels provide if there is availability, with the receptionist (Priya) she told me that there is no such thing as late check-out option in any hotels and the hotel will not allow. She insulted me saying that I am cheap in asking for extra one hour stay. I replied that under the context of hotel rules she is cheating for the sake of extra money, she said she will call the police and report me. Since I am an Advocate by profession and I said I am not scared by her empty threats, she went on to say that Advocates in general are shameless and behave cheap. She had the audacity to insult the Law profession itself. She also said that since she is a woman, she can say whatever she wants and no action will be taken against her and nobody can question her. I am sure that the police will have much more important things to take care off than to listen to her and if it all someone has to be put behind bars, it is the receptionist. Priya behaved as if she is the owner of the hotel. She used filthy language and created unnecessary ruckus. She is unfit to be a receptionist, a job that requires understanding customer needs and behaving in a good manner. If at all the hotel management, reads this review they have to fire Priya immediately to save their reputation. I am giving a one star review, mainly because of the receptionist.

Budget hotel within 4k with breakfast included. Location is just 4 kms from airport towards main city. Decent hotel for a single night stay. Located at walking distance from Nanagallur metro station

Let me write the Pros first - 1. Excellent location 2. Ok rooms and clean toilet Now cons - I cannot list them. In my lifetime the most rude front staff ever met. Behaviour was pathetic and third grade. We booked 2 deluxe rooms and were 3 adults and 2 kids under age of 9. They fleeced us asking extra charge for 1 adult which is not fair. Agoda, from where we booked agreed to this and tried to resolve with the hotel but they got denied as well. Finally Agoda reimbursed me cash that the hotel charged for extra person. The staff first confirmed that they won't charge and to my horror they called at 11.30 pm while sleeping to inform that I pay the extra charge. I was out of energy and had to pay but Agoda as mentioned reimbursed the fee. The worst hotel we ever visited. The most rude staff we met. Unsafe for women and children as they can call midnight for extracting money. It's all about money at this hotel. First and last time. Requesting all guests to cancel your booking and opt for a better one. Skip this. Clearly passable service.

The staff is very unprofessional and they have no manners to talk to the customer. Bedsheets are very untidy. They refuse to give the basic amenities at night. they even refuse to take the online food delivery at night. The housekeeping staff stole cash from my purse when the room was locked they are breaking and entering without the consent of the customer. no room for privacy
