Hotel Miramar - Hotel in Daman, Marwad - Daman, India

Location is awesome, we were given rooms in a new property just opposite the main building. As it was new it was clean and tidy. Over all a good property with a nice pool. We were a corporate group and everyone was satisfied.

My first order was quick but then 45 minutes sitting there was not a single waiter who came to my table asking if we needed anything. Saw a table where there were 4 waiters attending and our table not a single waiter. Very bad I just had one beer and left never ever going to come back to this place.

Review about the Miramar restaurant I had a terrible experience here. We came for lunch but ended up leaving before ordering food. Reasons- 1. Very overpriced food and drinks. It is more expensive than Mumbai. 2. The choice of furniture was very questionable. Basic ergonomics were not met. The tables were lower than the chairs, it would be very difficult to eat. 3. The maintenance of the place was very poor, the ceilings were leaking ( we were in the a/c room) we were asked to move 3 times.

The property has the best view from its restaurant. Rooms are excellent too. However the food is average and is extremely costly. Imagine paying Rs. 950 for mixed fried rice and tea at Rs. 125. Service at restaurant is pathetic. You really have to be behind them for something you ordered half an hour back. Room service is ordinary too. You'll have to call and ask them for towels and other toiletries which is pathetic.

Popular Hotel for Stay and having food. Location and ambiance is very good. Costly compare to other Hotels. Services are best. If cost is not constraint then best hotel to stay. Situated at Devka Beach & Namo Path- Daman's Marine lines. Oldest & Good Hotel

Restaurant is highly priced and the food quality is not that great. Being a seaside town, the sea food prices are very exorbitant which IMO is not right.

When you check in it is a complete shocker. [ ] We asked for a room change , the lady at reception said she will change after speaking to the manager even after multiple reminders didn't bother to revert. [ ] Worst Hotel experience in Daman, we will warn people not to stay at Miramar [ ] It is the oldest but also outdated. [ ] we have stayed in the best hotel in major cities of the four major states, so we know how the HK and other things works. The major turn off was the used and stinking bedsheets. We visited 5-6-7 Aug 2023. It was my Daughter's birthday. We are still at the property. They charge 7 k for a day and the room facilities are that of a 2 star.

We went to this property for Dinner & the service was sooo slow that we decided to leave after having one starter only, which BTW wasn't great. Post this we asked the bill for almost 4 times to 4 different people, at the end we had to get up and go to the main reception where we were made to wait another 5 mins. This was a very very bad experience. DO NOT recommend it. Instead, right next to it is the GOLD beach resort, which is GREAT and is CHEAPER too. PS- Not a paid review. -Not at all happy customer
