Hotel Merwara Estate - Hotel in Ajmer - Ajmer, India

Was there to attend a Wedding hosted at this venue. Absolutely stunning location, perched on a hill overlooking lake Anasagar and right in the middle of the city. It is an experience of Royal Opulence with humble service which, if You are a history lover, would transcend You into the period of the Maharajas & their rich traditions. Ideal place to visit would be from mid October to Mid November or February.

Rooms are old, they didn't provide me copy of invoice when I checked out. They told me they are having some issues with previous bill (which I knew was bogus) and they will mail me the invoice. It's been 3 days and they haven't given me yet. I told them upfront that it's important for me to upload on my corporate system. The only reason would be they charged more than the actual price.

The stay was not at all comfortable. Firstly the room I have booked was a standard double room and the room was in a different building which was a bit away from the hotel. In the night, it was becoming uncomfortable especially with 'family'. The room was having different maintenance issues like the bulb not working, tap water leaking and also the amenities were also not placed as of "cost control". At midnight suddenly the wooden piece broke down and dropped on the floor from which the family got scared because again it was a maintenance issue. I have asked for the wifi but there was no wifi connection to the building of 'Noor Mahal'. In spite of informing the issues to reception there was nothing done. I would recommend the traveler that either they don't book the standard room or check the room before check-in, so that you have the option for changing the hotel.

Rooms are spacious..but room service is pathetic..staff demands tip for everything and even after taking the tip they do not serve. At every call room service person changes and again demands money for the room service. Staff demotes their own hotel by saying that hotel charges are very high you just give us money we will take it from the market.

Rooms are good but not awesome but room 214 and 212, 213 morning view are awesome. Location is also good because of height..... service is very slow.

Merwara Estate situated near KGN dargah approx 1.5km. Though perfect place to stay with family

This is a fantastic destination wedding place. The venue is quite old but maintained. Rooms are plenty and spacious. They have restaurant, halls, swimming pool, huge open area for any function etc. There is also a three floor tall waterfall. The view from lake side is spectacular as evident from photos and videos. Ample parking available. We had amazing time enjoying the wedding there.

the place is very aesthetically pleasing. wonderful paintings and artwork around and the building structures are beautiful too. the paintings in the washroom were beautiful which made taking a dump there an exquisite experience. the property also felt like it was some sort of a haunted house, which really helped me enjoy my stay there. now, as far as the maintenance and services are concerned, they were quite poor. the beds, furniture were not in good conditions at all. fruits served for breakfast did not seem to be fresh.
