Hotel Merit - Hotel in Surat - Surat, India

Hotel merit is overall a satisfactory hotel. Rooms are good but not much spacious. Noisy due to nearby station and city traffic but not a big issue. Parking is available but needs a great care for bigger SUV cars. Care should be taken for basic amenities: hot water, AC conditions. Staff is good

Rooms are fine to stay but u will not be provided bottle water everyday as per your quotas need to ask or fight with the service fellow .Very poor room cleaning, especially bedsheets will not be changed even after for couple of days stay unless told upon. Dental kit and shaving kit will not be provided by hotel .Overall ok ok hotel can stay but need to ask and get all facilities..

I usually visit surat for my job purpose and I booked different hotel every time. This time one of my friend suggest me this hotel and I booked. I have an amazing experience. This is very clean, safe and luxury hotel. Staff behaviour is friendly which add more value. Also hotel is nearby railway station so it can be easy to find out and also can reach there by walking.

Great hotel in surat to stay near railway Junction. Excellent hygiene, excellent food, service staff is good. There are some review about small size room but I felt they are fake. Rooms are good in size. Will book again if I travel to surat again.

While the receptionist, Shubham, recommended that we visit a local textile factory and arranged transportation, our return journey was marred by unprofessional and unethical behavior. The driver refused to provide the return ride, stating that we did not purchase anything from the factory. This was completely unacceptable, and we were left to find our own way back to the hotel. To make matters worse, when we complained to the hotel reception, they assured us of strict action but failed to take any action at all. This kind of behavior towards guests is simply unacceptable, and it made our stay at Hotel Merit an unpleasant one. Overall, I rate my stay at Hotel Merit, Surat, with a score of 2 out of 5. The professionalism, behavior, and recommendation also receive a score of 1 out of 5. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms have enough space as well staff behavior were very polite...
