Hotel Mayura Sudarshan - Hotel in Ooty - The Nilgiris, India

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. Had come here with my dad. Taking long walks in the garden with dad was great. Also, the room was very clean and spacious with the wonderful 24/7 geyser. After dinner , enjoyed playing carrom with my father in the game room. The restaurant food was amazing with prompt and quick service. To sum it up, I loved the hospitality of the staff , be it at the restaurant or the reception. One thing that I am sure of is next time when I come to Ooty, I would be staying at your resort for sure. It's best recommended if you are coming with family here.

We stayed in this Hotel in May-2023. Our stay at Hotel Mayura Sudarshan was quite good and met all our expectations. Below is my feedback PROS: Good locality to stay in. Very peaceful surroundings. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very scenic location There is a KSTDC Horticulture garden with ample space right next to the hotel, which is free for hotel guests. Good and clean rooms which is quite spacious for a family of 3. Hot water available for 24hrs. Attached Restaurant with good breakfast options. Breakfast is also quite good. A small indoor gaming area with the following games for some light fun activity - Carrom - Chess - Ludo/Snake and Ladders - A couple of badminton rackets Food can be ordered to your Hotel rooms{only snacks though} Staff was very good. Massage service was also available in case anyone is interested. I found the rates quite reasonable. CONS: Chinese food at the restaurant needs significant improvement. I would not recommend ordering any kind of Chinese food from this hotel's restaurant. If you forget to carry any basic items then you would probably need to travel to the city center to get it. This could be a problem in case you do not have your own personal transport. Service at the restaurant can get a bit slow at times especially when there are a lot of customers. Many items from the menu were unavailable. Considering it was peak season and Hotel was completely booked, they should have taken care of this. NOTE:- If you are traveling with a driver he will have to probably sleep in the vehicle as no separate accommodation is provided for him. However other things such as blankets, pillows etc.. and access to bathrooms will be provided.

Pleasant experience staying here. Staff are cordial, Restaurant is decent too although the menu is limited. Driver accommodation is not available. If you have the time, Get a massage from the in house therapist John, He is very good at what he does.

Best budget resort available in Ooty. Rooms are spacious and clean, Tasty food available in restaurant and staff behavior is very polite. The main attraction about this resort is the Garden in front of our rooms, Its very huge and attractive. If you are booking this hotel, then you don't need to visit any other tourist spot( other gardens) in Ooty. Highly recommended

Superb location. Rooms are good. Entire property itself is a park to spend time. Everyone can enjoy. Would suggest to spend sometime to in the entire garden/campus area. It's so beautiful and huge. Can be compared with any other park in Ooty. Service is bit slow still good. Restaurant is there but so many items from menu are not available. Still whatever item is there it was fresh and good.

Best Stay in Ooty! You get access to best Horticulture garden. The service and Manager were very Humble and Helpful. The restaurant doesn't have large menu. But felt really good with taste (use organic ). Recommend to stay. Had Great time with my kids!

Beautiful location, Awesome view from the lovely designed cottages. Their service was extremely good and the breakfast was superb with a variety of South Indian delicacies, they also prepared jain cuisine on request. A wonderful experience, Value for money.

This hotel is beauty and property is historical. The gardens are well maintained as horticulture dept takes care of it. If you plan to relax and not visit much of places, this place can be selected. Restaurant service and staff is good.
