We had booked two a/c for one day in August 2023. The room were neat and the staff were very helpful and courteous. The food at the restaurant, opposite the hotel, was tasty and good. On Saturdays/Sundays and public holidays, the Sangama/Mekedatu gets packed, but there is place for everybody and it's enjoyable. On weekdays, there are very few people and hence there could be delay in getting boat to cross the river and bus to Mekedatu. It is a great getaway from Bangalore - a day trip is best. Stay there for a relaxed weekend.
The location is good. Rooms are very basic. Make sure the bedsheets are clean. There are lot of monkeys to be careful of. View from the top floor rooms are very nice.
The ebst part about this hotel is the proximity to the Sangam of two rivers, Cauvery and Arkavathi. It's just a few meters from the hotel. The water level was very less when we visited this place (in late Aug 2023) due to lack of enough rains.
The hotel rooms are just ok, and not too great as such.. but for what we pay that is well worth the price.
The staff is very friendly. The food was ok inside the hotel (not too many varieties).
If you want a simple weekend getaway and not too far from the Sangam and Mekedhatu, this is a good place to stay.
The room needs to be maintained properly. The bathroom was not clean and staff was not available during night hours. Also, no wifi or mobile signal was available in the room.
Didn't stay but overall very good hotel from KSTDC at very good location. Hardly 200meters from the sangham point and you view the sangham from the restaurant of the hotel.
Food is not great but manageable considering limited options and small place.
Situated in the lap of Mother Nature, only option to stay near Sangam. A nice place, couple and kids friendly. No network is available, hence you are free from phone & internet. Just go there with a camera to capture moments spent with nature and enjoy eNirvana.
Not visited hotel but hotel is right situated on shore of sangam. Best place to visit with your family and loved ones.. One day trip, left morning took approx 2.5-3hrs to reach.. Can come along with your pets.. Be cautious on monkey's. Can prepare food and it's picnic spot. Request not to drink and throw bottle around and inside water, need to be careful. Found sharp broken bottle pieces in water.
The food is good.
The staff absolutely don't put any effort at customer care.. You will get one word answers or grunts from them.
The dining area is sparse with tables and chairs and fans so high that the air does not even reach you. We went for lunch so it was withering hot and not a pleasant way to have food. We came out sweaty and uncomfortable. Definitely wouldn't want to visit again.
