This is one of the worst hotels of Kolkata. First they denied check in even when I had confirm booking through oyo. Then when I asked for personal booking. They charged me a high amount and said we will whatapp the bill. Never received the bill.
3rd class room... Broken ac, too small bathroom, dirty bedcovers and blanket. Worst hotel I have ever checked in
Bedsheets were dirty, I had to remind them 10 times to get them replaced and replaced one's were also dirty and had holes in them. Price was also high as per rooms they provide also the cupboard were broken.
This Hotel is situated in the heart of NewMarket area. It is good for very low budget stay. The hotel does not have a kitchen but all types of food are available just below. The famous Nizam Restaurant and UP-Bihar Restaurants are right below. New Market is a 2min walk from here. You can buy really good stuffs for cheap. At the back of the hotel is JanBazaar the famous place for Spices in whole sale. In the area there is a Church, a Kali Temple, a Hanuman Temple and a Mosque. The hotel is accessible by all types of transport: Autos,Rickshaws, Bus, Taxis and even underground Metro. Great location.
Bad behaviour. The manager is very rude towards visitors.
Hotel Mayfair is located on Corporation Place near New Market area, Kolkata. It is adjacent to Society Cinema hall. The road outside the hotel is too crowded & a bit dirty. It is well connected through road & Esplanade metro station is near to it.
