Naam Bade aur Darshan Chote. I had booked it after the good reviews, but those are all proabbly fake. The only good thing is the Infrstracture and rooms. No PARKING!! No Kitchen, even after they have mentioned it. They just expect us to park in front of the building complex. The service is the worst that I have ever experienced. It was as if they were doing a favour on us by letting us stay. Hotel staff and owner were not at all cooperative and weren't even a tad bit hospitable. The staff had an attitude around themselves and were getting irritated for even calling them to inquire about something. Asked 12 times and then they cleaned the bathrooms. Asked 5 times and then they sent some person to pick our luggage. Kept asking from evening till night, but they couldn't arrange a parking space and I had to leave my car without any security. I suspect all the good reviews are written by their family and friends, because from what I experienced, I wouldn't even think about letting anyone I know stay there, let alone recommend it to anyone.
Worst hospitality ever from the staff, raising eyebrows at every request for which we have paid in full in advance. We're not freeloaders, and the body language I received when I mentioned that my package includes food gave me the impression that I am begging for a service I haven't paid for. Food service was delayed. Breakfast was tasteless. Sambar was watery so much I could comb my hair by looking at my reflection.

Beatiful historic hotel. The staff are attentive and helpful. The food is good and plentiful. My bedroom was on the roof which was exciting and gave easy access to fantastic views across tge city to the Ganges. I enjoyed my stay here very much.
