Hotel is located at the center of the city. Good, old, clean hotel, clean bathrooms with friendly staff. One phone call is enough to book/block your room in the off-season time. They also have good collection of antique idol items in the hotel.
Good hotel, nice rooms, at checking in , they could handle a little more professionally, they have so many old wooden and brass items displayed, which is really attractive, prices are moderate
Very beautiful ambience. Reception is a beautiful well maintained place. Rooms were very neat and clean. Its in city centre. There is a tea coffee shop and dose centre just beside the hotel.
The hotel is in the heart of mangaluru city right next to city center Mall. Despite being so close to mall, it's very cheap. Has parking for the vehicles. The staff was friendly and the service was good. Rooms were bit old fashioned (probably because it's an old construction and hasn't been renovated) but it wasn't much of a problem for us. Our room had two rooms/parts and yet the AC was powerful enough to cool everything. Washrooms were reasonably clean. Overall a good experience. Safe for families.
Room clean and bed etc neatly arranged. Room Service - Very Poor .Not that the staff are not polite .Since there is only a canteen , attached,either your order is taken up after considerable delay or is not not taken up at all .Electricity connection suddenly got disconnected at about 10.a.m.and got rectified only after I complained about it to the Receiption counter .Tea or coffee is brought in a very casual,awkward manner,in paper cups,a dirty drinking experience.As I found it cumbersome to get even coffee/tea ,I didn't go for any breakfast or dinner ,through the room service provisions. Rooms are not having the modern locking facilities,with the age old lock and key system.No glasses are given for drinking water.No enquiry or provision of hot drinking water.Bath rooms are not with either metallic or plastic soap box.We have to keep the soap on the wash basin surfaces.However,staff was helpful in not insisting upon check-in ,check out timings. On the whole ,value for money is not received ,in full.
This hotel is in the heart of the city. Very close to wherever you want to go. There is no service you have to go out or order food from online. Best for the price you can get non AC rooms at 1250rs.
Talking about Hotel Manorama, Hampangatta in Mangalore,, this was our 2nd time stay in the same hotel. It is very clean, comfortable rooms, clean bedding, towels, toilet was very clean with western comode,house keeping prompt,we were given 2 complimentary water bottles daily.Beautiful statues of different Gods and Goddesses are kept at the entrance & every floor.Good crowd.We enjoy our stay every time we go . Nice Antique ambiance to welcome the guest, located in the heart of the city. The staff is cooperative and always on the toes. Rooms are ok to do maintaining the hygiene. Transport and Eatables available easily in the locality.
