Hotel Manakamna Residency - Hotel in Darjeeling, Pandam Tea Garden - Darjeeling, India

Room and bathroom are very clean,and staff's behavior are always good. A very homely ambience. If you have to planning a trip to Darjeeling please book this hotel whithout any doubt.

Very poor hotel, no value for money, whatever they charged for any room, you can get a much better hotel than this in Darjeeling. The rooms and toilets are very dirty, even the blanket and bedsheet of the previous guest has not been changed. No privacy because whenever you speak anything the guests in the room around you hear everything you say.

I am just love this hotel...very near from darjeeling mall....I have stayed twice here...management are very good...and last but not the list...the price is very much reasonable...so

Very dissapointed with the room and service.. they are scamming people if you want to checkout before the date you have to pay full price otherwise they will not allowed to checkout from the hotel.. dogs are pooping outside the room.. bathroom doors are broken..

Staff is very bad. There are three women receptionist that make fun of their guests behind their back in their local language. The manager doesn't know how to talk to his guests. Regarding service.....bedsheets old with hairs on it, blankets were smelling bad, and rooms are quite small. The mattress makes lots of noice while sleeping LOL.

Ok. So please never ever stay here. Very unhygienic dirty rooms and bathrooms. When we entered there were match stick in the bathroom. The tap was broken. When we asked for room change they told us they will charge extra 200 for cleaning we agreed. The second room was as bad as the 1st one. We gave them 1 night advance but we decided to move in some better hotel so we said we want to leave so they charged extra 1500 rs as cancellation which was very wrong from their side because they didn't gave us a accomodation we payed for. The staff behaviour is very rude. They even said they will call police but obviously they didn't because they knew they are at fault. Anyway we went their to enjoy so without engaging in any kind of bad situation we gave them that charge and we moved out from their. The hotel rooms bathrooms and staff behaviour was so bad that whatever money wasted doesn't mattered to us.. the amount they took you will find much better options of hotels in Darjeeling in that amount. So please don't go in this one. I will never suggest this hotel. It's better to cancel your trip than staying in this hotel.

Rooms are not that much upto the mark.. specially the big room for 4 people is situated at the g-2 floor which is having almost 15 steps in a very inclined staircase..view rooms are good but toilet lock was not working in one of the room,also non view rooms are having Indian style latrine.. Service is really good.. staffs are always there to help.. Location wise it is around 5minutes walking distance from the centre of the mall..

We have stayed there twice till date and every time the experience just gets better. One can say it's on the Mall - that's how closely located the hotel is. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are always clean. We returned late or left early some days but the staff were always available to serve us warm beverages and meals too. A very homely ambience with a view that can keep you hooked to your window for hours. Loved this place. It's economical on pocket too. If you are planning a trip to Darjeeling, book your stay here.
