Very unique family owned restaurant. They don't have any hired staff, all the work is shared by family members only. Fish was fresh and prepared only after we ordered food. We tried pomfret fry and prawn fry. It was so tasty, we kept on ordering many more items. All of them were crispy and equally well prepared. We highly recommend the place for family dining.
Excellent Sea Food Restaurant. Fish were that smooth and that nicely fried with marination was excellent something extra ordinary. Had ordered Surmai & Pomfret Thali. which included Kolambi Solkadi Rice Bhakar. Taste was excellent for each and every puff. Very delighted to have discovered this fish restaurant in Kolhapur. The fish served is very fresh and entire meal is served very hot. The preparation taste is typical malvani. The best part is you feel the warmth of konkan with the owner himself very kind and courteous. A must visit place for fish lovers in Kolhapur.
Awesome friend fish! Surmai thali with lovely solkadhi,fresh soft chapaties,fresh steamed rice and sukat chutney!! All awesome home cooked! The place kokan kinara is owned and run by the malvankar family totally.a small joint about a km away from the railway station in shahupuri. The food is cooked by the ladies of the family, served by the son with some help and cash counter manned by the father!! They can do by improving the ambience though!!
