Hotel Malligi Hampi - Hotel in Hosapete - Ballari, India

Staff were helpful. Location is near railway station. For ppl coming by road, ample car parking is available, v good room cleaning. AC and hot water work perfectly. Downside-Bathroom fittings were not up to mark. Toilet seat was unhinged. Flush needed to be used 2-3 times. However, staff good behaviour, calm atmosphere and excellent buffet breakfast make up for the downsides.

We were there for 2 days & had 2 rooms. First day they gave us. 2 rooms but the rooms are quiet old & not pleasant at all. So next day we asked them to change the room but then new rooms had electricity issue. In wash room electricity was on & off every now & then. Even fan was also making noise. Good part is food is good with reasonable rate. Breakfast is same every day. Sambar is very tangy. Not a good breakfast.

Positives: 1. Polite hotel staff, good and prompt housekeeping service. Very smooth check-in and check-out experience 2. Ample parking space with shade 3. Not too far from highway or Hampi ruins Negatives 1. Restaurant - breakfast menu is very limited and same menu repeated everyday 2. Restaurant - hygiene issue. Found dirty cutlery and coffee mugs kept for use 3. Restaurant - Blue Mist - one manager behavior was particularly rude and discriminatory towards our group. When we asked for some extra chairs for our group to accommodate he refused and even discouraged us to sit there and moments later when a foreigners group arrived he and his staff rushed to arrange extra chairs for them on our adjacent table. They even promptly pulled a chair from our table where our group member was about to join, without asking us. I have not experienced any such behaviour in any other hotel around the world anytime before. We had booked this hotel looking at the good reviews but this one incidence was very discouraging and spoilt our experience to some extent.

The Hotel rooms, Dining, Services, Parking space, is excellent. It is highly recommended place for staying. We stayed for 2 days as a family, The grandeur of Hampi Kingdom is simply awesome but it is also a Hot area hence returning to Malligi Hotel is like so soothing. Will definitely like to visit again & stay here

The behaviour of the staffs was very good. Everyone i interacted at the reception was polite in his/ her behaviour. The room services were nice and the operators were very responsive. The hotel along with its rooms had a great ambiance. The view in the evening from the corridors was very pleasant. I found it a great place to spend some time with family. I love this place

Stayed here between 14-16 Oct 2023. We liked everything in this place. Rooms are beautiful, and spotless. Front desk and service Staff is courteous, helpful and truthful. We forgot few things in morning and we got them once reached hotel in the evening. I was so indebted to the all the staff in this hotel. I would recommend the travel ofc too, they gave us good service too..

We stayed at premium rooms , though the rooms has minor differences in compare to interiors but overall rooms are spacious and nice facilities. Food options are good and staff is really helpful and polite. Swimming pool is also good. This seems to be like a business hotel and popular hotel in the area. Room service was up to the mark overall a good experience.

We had stayed for two nights. Rooms were spotless. Every essential toiletries were provided. The complimentary breakfast buffet spread was amazing. The whole staff was very courteous and prompt. Overall had a very pleasant stay.
