Taste was brilliant, Staff is very polite. 15 mins walking from Thane station, I order Surmai Thai and Chiken Kebab Masala, Thali was included for 1 big slice of Surmai, 2 curry, dry javla, 1 bhakri, and steam rice. Both dishes were mouth watering. Every one must try. Recommended for family who love authentic taste.
Best chicken thali I've had since so many months. I must say the taste was good. You can get an idea if you went there, the place is not that big but you'll find out there are lot's of people stand outside for waiting. Good service too. Food quantity is just perfect for foodie like me. I was satisfied with overall experience... Suggested to everyone, visit atleast once. You'll definitely love the taste they offer.
We visited Hotel Malhar to crave on seafood. Ambience wise the hotel is average. With limited items on the menu, we ordered Bombil fry, Prawns (with prawns thick gravy, which they call as Prawns lapeta) n Pompret Thali. Bombil fry- were just deep fried, no marination at all. Pomfret Thali- Pomfret too was sliced n deep fried with no marination. Thali was served with 2 bland tasteless curry, 1 bhakri n rice. Prawns Thali- Prawns masala was good with a homely taste served with an additional gravy, rice n 1Bhakri. Overall, wouldn't recommend this outlet for seafood but can surely be a good one for Chicken as most of the customers were seen ordering Chicken Thali. One can try Solkadhi too
I give all stars to food quantity and quality. If you are hungry ignore the atmosphere or luxury. Focus on food. Kebab chiken thali was awesome. Must must must try. I find bakhari bit thick & rice also bit thick. But may it's because I was laste at restaurant. I must say ignore the looks just focus on food. Cost wise it's really reasonable. I had thali for 200.
