Very worst hotel in Rajkot. Staff behaviour towards customer too rough. No services according the charges. One of the my worst experience in this hotel.

at the time we reached the hotel, they said that we are fully sold out and rooms are unavailable. after that i said that i have booked the hotel just one hour before and if room is not available why they booked and finally they have allotted one room. before that they also asked me how long we want to stay and when i will check out. as we had a night train from rajkot, i said that we will stay here for 4-5 hours, then they have allotted the room. this is not a maintained hotel and so, do not recommend this hotel.

Booked hotel Mahashakti but when we reached at 1:30am along with family hotel reception is saying there is no booking reflecting and they have allotted room in front of me to someone else. Hotel staff talk to owner and they have asked us to stay in another hotel again we have take all luggage at 2:00 am to hotel Shivang that is worst but we have no option left and in the morning water problem, no hot water we have wait more than 2 hour's but problem water problem not resolved.please do not book hotel Mahashakti and hotel Shivang :(

Stayed here in December for 2 nights in room 105. The hotel is about 2km from Rajkot Junction Railway Station and is walkable if you had the mindset for it. The hotel is easy to find, but the alleyway where the hotel is located has a foreboding look about it. It's safe, but I'm not sure that a women traveling would want to walk down the alleyway at night. Check-in was a bit confusing. They gave me a room, but told me I'd likely have to move to another one later, so I decided to leave my bag and not unpack. This was fine because it just meant that I could go out, and see some sights before coming back to the hotel. When I did come back about 4 hours later, I did have to change rooms, so it was a good thing I didn't unpack. The room I got was a double, non A/C with a fan. The room was spacious with a double bed. The sheets and pillows looked clean, but worn. That's only to be expected in a budget hotel. The bathroom was about what I expected for a budget hotel, clean functional and looked in good condition. There was hot water most of the time, even when it wasn't hot, it was good enough for a shower. The hotel does offer free WiFi, but it's largely inaccessible on the second floor where my room was. Definitely not on a mobile, although the signal is strong enough for a laptop. No problem using the WiFi on the ground floor. The staff really need to learn to smile and show a little bit of friendliness. Looking all soured faced does nothing for customer service, even if it's just a budget hotel. Although they did start to smile a lot more towards the end of the stay (because I'm leaving?). Location wise, the hotel is close to all the main sights in the city. Rajkot is not that big. There's also a few restaurants and lots of shops around the hotel, so food should not be a problem. Overall, I had a good and comfortable stay. The standard and facilities were above par for a budget hotel in India. The service needs a bit of work, but the staff do their job.

I stayed for one night. Hotel is below average. Place was quite stinky like room was not clean for more than five days even bed and bed sheets smelled bad. Not satisfied with room service and hotel staff. Intercom was not working. Every time I to reach reception for needs.Complementary Breakfast was ok. No WiFi service. Not recommended for any kind of traveller.

The hotel is very neat and clean. A budgeted hotel for family. Having single and double room for big families. The staff is cooperative and helpful. Meal also provided if needed.

I stay for one night but it's difficult because there is so many mosquito in rooms. Also bathroom not proper clean and bathroom fittings are damage so it's difficult for me. We complain them hope they will repair or replace the bathroom fittings and proper maintain their rooms and quality. Thanks hope you like this much information about this place.
