One of the best hotels in bongaigaon for food. The food is best as per my experience with other hotels. They buy fresh vegetables and meat ,fish from the paglastan market of bongaigaon every day . The behaviour of the staff is also good. Usually on high demand in the afternoon hours and you can guess the demand for good food is really high in this area as this is the only good option for the foodies.
Stayed in this hotel while returning from Guwahati to Kolkata. The rooms were spacious & food quality was decent. It has a very popular restaurant in the ground floor & breakfast was complementary. Had an overall good experience.
They focuses on restaurant,lodging is not good.no lift, no proper room service.woke up at 2:00am at night after severe mosquito attack,no mosquito repellent provide earlier.after request they provide it. Room tariff is quite high as 1800/-
We tried chicken biriyani as the mutton biriyani was not available,,,, biriyani was good we also tried mutton kosha, chicken curry. Those were also good, but my main intension was mutton biriyani but unfortunately it was not available,,,, I will definitely try it next time.
If any one want to have Lunch seriously. This is the best place where you can have your Lunch. Food is good and rate is reasonably priced.
I used to like Mahamaya from very long time as it is in my hometown. Whenever I like to eat thali, used to visit here only. Apart from this I like Biriyani n Moglai paratha too... BUT TODAY I ORDERED 3 VEG THALI PARCEL WITHOUT RICE AND AS THEY ASK ME TO WAIT A LONG DUE TO SHORTAGE OF STAFF, I WAS WAITING THERE FOR MORE THAN HALF HOUR. AT THE SAME TIME, A CUSTOMER ORDERED A VEG THALI PARCEL AFTER ME AND I HEARD IT, BUT ONE OF THE STAFF GAVE HIS PARCEL BEFORE ME. I ASKED THEM ABOUT THIS, BUT ONE OF THEIR OLD STAFF REPLIED IN A NEGATIVE MANNER. THAT'S THE THING I REALLY DON'T LIKE FROM A PRESTIGIOUS WELL KNOWN HOTEL/ RESTAURANT. Hope the management apply 1st come 1st serve rule strictly .

Food is cheap but quality and hygiene is not good. If you move 1 km ahead you have much better option in Hotel Himalaya in the national highway.

A good and clean hotel to stay in the center of Bongaigaon city. There is also a cafe on the 2nd floor. Both ac and non ac rooms available. Service was also good and rooms are at reasonable rate. Overall a good experience there.
