This is the best place to enjoy seafood in Kollam. They offer a wide range of fresh and delectable fish. Be sure to try their meals as well. While it may be a bit pricey, the delightful taste justifies the cost. My favorites include the Neymeen Vazhayilayil Pollichath, Prawns Fry, and Kanava Roast. Please note that the restaurant typically gets crowded by 1 pm. To avoid waiting, aim to arrive before that time for a seamless dining experience.
The food was okay. We had ordered appam, kerala parotta, beef curry and pepper chicken. The breads were good. The beef curry was watery but tasted better than it looked. The pepper chicken didn't have any taste to it and was rather bitter. The ac seating was quite delightful but the non-ac was not up to the mark. They had ambient parking space.
Very worst experience. This is the pothichoru cost 190 Rs .the fish curry is like water , And 1/2 portion of egg omlette
Our sojourn to Mahalekshmi restaurant was a gastronomic delight! The succulent chicken roast, savory beef roast, and tantalizing prawns dishes were a symphony of flavors. Food is average but expensive. It's okay, but one of their staffs was very arrogant, a man speaking Malayalam ,who usually works in the Air conditioned section. He doesn't even know how to address a customer. It's sorry to say that his behaviour was pathetic. Men from other states are decent and well behaving. Anyway,I don't suggest this place as my experience was not so pleasant.
Very disappointed to mention this. I ordered pothichoru with fish via Zomato and it cost Rs190. It had only very less quantity of curry's. Only very little thoran, very little avial, very very little chammanthi. And only pulisseri and fish curry. That's all. Please think before order online.
One of the best traditional Kerala food places. Had lunch with parippu pappadam chamandi sambar moru fish curry and fish thoran. Everything was cooked to perfection..homely taste. Ample parking for 2 and 4 wheelers. Great service. Reasonable rates.
This was breakfast, but Mahalekshmi is known for its seafood lunch which is next level in taste
