Hotel Madurai Veedu - Chettinad restaurant in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

This hotel located near to French colony and one the most pointed hotel for Non vegetarian. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good and the seating space is sufficient to accommodate enough people. The taste of the food was very good and we loved their Rasam, it had a special place in my heart. The overall experience was good.

"Asaivame Arokiyam" starts with this line. The hotel atmosphere is very good and clean. Came with family. Well service. Food items are served carefully. We have to accept the price. Good food values than money.

Must visit for authentic Chettinad food. Everything that we ordered was simply delicious The portion size of 1 dish is enough for 2-3 people. I recommend asking about the quantity before placing the order. The price too is VERY affordable. We ordered 8 items and 2 drinks and our bill came to Rs1,350 including the taxes. Very hospitable staff. Highly recommended this place.

This restaurant has so much variety in menu that it would require at least a month to taste all of them A big thumbs up to Madurai Veedu and the diversity of this country

Very unique dishes served here. Thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. Nice and friendly servers too.

I tried their prawn and nattu kozhi biriyani it was nice but it could have been much better taste wise and when you order biriyani they give complementary white rice and rasam which tasted really yummy. Their jigarthanda was just wow Staff- customer service was amazing and also it would be great if kola urundai was also available on other days other than Sunday alone.
