Very tasty and nostalgic hotel. Due to the highway expansion hotel moved to 50mtr nearby home . We can expect old generation culture, facility , infrastructure and taste. As per my visit i recommend to try 1. dosa with chutney (any time) 2. Puttu with kadala and papad (breakfast - steamputtu+chana+papad) .

Please don't go for their take away. 15/10/23 we got a parcel of 2 normal dosas, 3 vadas, one ghee roast and one masala dosa, no sambar (don't know if it's their thing or not) and the chutney they provided was not even enough for that masala dosa alone. I'm not saying they should give you a ton of chutney but atleast look at how much we bought and give enough for it. It's not like that chutney cost them a lot, because it's nothing but orange coloured water. You'd be truly lucky if you can find some coconut. Disappointed as we had to waste away some dosas

I hardly give a 5 Star to any of the restaurants but this small tea shop made me give one . Should admit I loved the banana fritters and the tea. A friend of mine tried the dosas which were delicious again. Overall an awesome place for your 4 o'clock tea and snacks

One of the best ever vegetarian restaurants from which I ever had a breakfast. It is a Hotel with nearly 100 years of service and the best part is that the food which they served was so homely and was very pocket friendly. The service is great and the place is clean and hygienic. It is a common mans restaurant with that ambience of the tea shop is still maintained with required updates. Normally the place will be very crowed due to their very delicious homely food and pocket friendly pricing. This is on the side of the highway and is very famous among the people. So, most of the time for most of the people this will be a usual stop for best vegetarian dishes. So, there will be different kind of crowds which is choosing here for that homely food and great pricing. Normally, it is a bit hard to get a seat. But this time, We reached here by 10.30, at which almost all the items were over and the rush was little bit on the lower side. So, We only had three options to select from which, are Masala Dosa, Thattu dosa and puttu from which we have selected Masala Dosa and had a bite of Uzhunnu Vada which was the last bite of that big snacks cupboard. Masala dosa was a so delicious with that the great filling of mashed potatoes and onion was rich which is served with A watery chutney which was very tasty and with delicious sambar. Uzhunnu was not that hot as we reach too late. Even though it was not hot, it was still having that crunchiness and had some peppercons inside it. I personally like a bite of peppercons in uzhunnu vada. The very tasty tea and coffee made that beautiful breakfast complete. The taste was so good and all together the food was so homely and was remarkably delicious. Another thing which I noticed was that perfect balance of saltiness in all our dishes, not at any less or not at any more, It was just perfect. U can find enough parking as the hotel is on the highway side. There may be some waiting during the peak hours. So, If you wanna have a beautiful vegetarian food, This is the best place for you taste buds, for your stomach and even for your pocket. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dosa is ma favourite. They use wood fire for cooking certain items esp dosa. Previously they served in vaazha ila. Hot dosa n chutney in vaazha ila will create a mouth watering aroma...
