Room service pathetic. Receptionist so much of attitude instead of being polite very rude. We were 2 ladies struggling to take our luggage the reception guy not even bothered to help us to get luggage down.. AC not working... After multiple reminders arranged to send the technician and conveniently he is mentioning please move to another room. Morning 4 am no one is answering the room service call as all the staffs are conveniently sleeping in another room... Reception no one is answering the call. Bad service... Hot water they mention 24 hours but even after 6 buckets the hot water is cold....
Restaurant wash basin dumped up. No proper lift passage from restaurant to rooms. For a people of 6 only one restroom was provided in the room. Very near to main road and junction. We hear bus honking and noises in room
An excellent stay! We came back after 7 years and nothing changed. They're great! And the food! Whoa. We missed our home food a lot until tasting their food. We'll come back over and over again everytime we visit kumbakonam!
It was a great stay. Executive Room for Triple Occupancy was booked. No complaints. Perfectly safe with family, even if travelling with senior citizen parents. Lift is there. AC works well. Car parking area is private and gated too. Bathtub was there, but was so old that you cannot use it. This location was very good to cover all temple travels easily . The area seems to have mosquito issue although all out was provided in room. So no issue Driver room was provided complimentary WiFi is only in lobby area.
We had to make a short trip to Kumbakonam. Made a last minute booking. Room was small, but clean and enough for us to spend a night. The dinner and breakfast was good at the restaurant.
Our family ate in the iyengar Cafe downstairs to the hotel. They had really tasty veg food. Vignesh sir who was our waiter, was really patient and the service he provided was really great.
Good value for money. Take triple bedroom rooms. They are quite spacious. Food is amazing in Iyengar cafe which is in the basement of the hotel
Room is spacious and clean. The blanket was not cleaned properly. Lift capacity is only for two people, and no proper maintenance. Present at prime location, easy access to temples and restaurants. Complimentary breakfast was good but the staffs were not polite to handle customer queries. Overall a good stay.
