Hotel Laxmi Janardhan - Restaurant in Yermal, Bada - Udupi, India

I've eaten here a couple of times, lunch mostly. Today I got a take away for dinner, trust me the food is amazing here. Mr. Ashok Poojary is running a great authentic coastal food restaurant. Don't go here for the ambience, but go for the food. It's homely and tasty. It is hygienic as well. They serve mostly breakfast and lunch, and in the evening they close at around 8 30 pm with limited food. Don't forget to try the mutton sukha here, it's amazing!!

Food is top notch. You can visit here with your family for excellent coastal food. Don't expect an ambience because it's a hotel hidden with a village touch (Though hotel is beside highway). Also do check the price of food before ordering as it can get quite expensive depending on seasonal fish dishes. Food and dining area is hygienic. Workers there are helpful as well. It's definitely worth multiple visit.

Went here on an evening to have the famous Kappa Rotti with Chicken Curry and trust me it's one of the best Rottis I had in my life. It was very fluffy and tasty, and the chicken curry was mind blowing company to the Kappa Rotti. Also tried Ade Meen Fish Fry that was also very tasty. Worth every penny. And ended my food with a glass of Coffee and to my surprise it was strong and perfect coffee which I wanted. I would suggest you to try this restaurant once and you'll find yourself visiting here again n again. Finding the place will be little difficult as there are no sign board beside the road. If you spot many vehicles stopped highway side near Yermal then this is the place.

Food taste is excellent, rate little bit higher side, but comparatively taste is good.. Sure you will enjoy it.

Great place with homely and tasty food. Very respectful people. Would definitely recommend going there if you are craving some proper local food.
