Highly disappointing visit to Ashoka Lake View. The waiters were quarrelling and fighting in front of the customers. The food was also pathetic. ZERO hygiene...... Basically it was a haunting dinner for us as on top of all this, there were insects and mosquitos all around the roof top restaurant
We ordered a white sauce pasta which was just okay and didn't do justice to the price at all and veg Hakka noodles.. I must say this was the worst quality of noodles i have ever had, that too in that price (Rs 350) .. The noodles were soggy and absolutely tasteless..The ambience was so boring and dull.. Except that there was a lake view.. It is a highly overrated restaurant.
My experience at this restaurant was below average. For the price that was charged, the food and ambience here do not justify it. We had the tandoori platter, which was only okay. It was also not busy even though the view of the lake was rather nice. The bar and restaurant area looks old and in need of some renovation. Overall, not value for money.

Review for the rooftop restaurant- It was called The Urban Socialite earlier- It used to be very good before. When it was not under MPT. The food is okay. Nothing special. Decor is very outdated and overall a very dull place. Me and my family did not enjoy there. Staff gave me a lime soda with ants in it and were very surprised when I showed them the ants.
Totally 3rd class hotel same as any service and i advice don't book MPT related hotel or resort in madhya pradesh
Only about the roof top restaurant. The more we ordered, the worse it got. Horrible food, bad service. Will never return. Such a waste of space.
The location of this MPT hotel opposite the big lake takes your breath away. The rooms are comfortable and big and good facilities are provided (including a hair dryer which came as a surprise). The entrance to the hotel with beautiful landscapes are impressive. The staff is very polite and helpful
