Hotel Lake Palace - Hotel in Kollam, Anchalummood - Kollam, India

Last two days we stayed at this hotel. The rooms are clean and big enough no doubt. The service at this place is pathetic. You have to literally go hunting for hotel staff for assistance or service. No extension numbers list provided in the room. No water provided to drink, facilities all are available in the fridge as well as the kettle to make coffee. Overall it's a good place to stay and spend the night. Talking about amenities, no swimming pool as photographs published. In the house they have restaurants and bars.

We visited this hotel for a function and the meeting room used for that was very good and well maintained.

The rooms are good and have good atmosphere, overall it's good for travelers and for a short stay! The few things needs the management should take care of are the air-conditioning systems, which seems to be unserviced and they are not functioning properly. Similarly the bathrooms, the water from the taps seems like it's running out of water. And the shower is poorly installed or not maintained.

My engagement happened here. The place was ok but there were technical issues. AC stopped working which led to unnecessary tension for my Father in law and relatives. This was fixed later on but the damage was already done. They should have checked everything in advance.

The bar is nice nd ambience is good but the drunkards coming out from the bar is complete nuisance for the surrounding homes nd people living in Murunthal area
