Hotel La Capitol - Hotel in Panaji - North Goa, India

Service was not good. Rooms are also average.

Third class hotel, worst, extremely dirty never recommend to stay anyone also if someone one offer u free booking.

Very well located near north Panjim Mandovi waterfront. Hotel, lobby, public areas ambience is quite basic. But the rooms are well appointed with very comfortable bedding, good lighting. Has tea/coffee making facilities but no daily replenishment of supplies and initial bottled water. Daikin aircon cools effectively but air circulation not that great. Mini-fridge, flatscreen TV, hair dryer and small room service menu (never tried) are available. At front desk, Mr Parag and his alternate, a tall moustachioed gentleman, were very nice and helpful and made up for many of the limitations of the hotel. Bathroom is ok with rainshower/ handshower combo, toilet has handheld bidet-spray but no toilet roll or holder. No tissue box in whole room. Sink has no plug, so I sent for a small bucket for my clothes handwashing (I don't like budget hotel laundries) and two plastic hangers for hanging dry (wood ones leave stains). Shockingly they have not iron or ironing boards to loan to a guest. I declined housekeeping's offer to have my ironing done at their end with their "heavy" iron. Bring drip dry or non-iron clothes if light on luggage and staying a few days. Housekeeping supervisor had not checked that my safe had not been unlocked when I moved into my room. Breakfast is alright - South Indian buffet plus white bread/toast, cereal, eggs to order, cut fruit etc. The popular Goan food restaurant (independent) on mezzanine floor was pretty good. Lots of eateries and shops around,

Had a very pleasant experience staying at La Capitol. Got a very good deal from Goibibo for a Suite room. Hotel is located at a great location, right in middle of MG Road and exactly opposite to Deltin Jaqk & Casino Pride offices. Room was very clean, comfortable, cozy with all the required amenities. Cleanliness is maintained throughout the hotel. Breakfast was good enough with limited options. Hotel staff is courteous and helpful. Overall, La Capitol is very good budget hotel with a great location. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Panaji.

Every thing was good there. Service was fine over there. Food and all are very much satisfactory there. Location is perfect and easy find able also. Hotel is located Right in the center of the city . Amenities and all are also fine. Hotel rooms and all a very neat and clean.

Stayed at la Capitol for 3nights in November 2014 .It is good bed and breakfast type of hotel,don't expect much but room , bathroom were clean and comfortable . Location was perfect if u want to stay in Panjim. Breakfast was good but only South Indian dishes. Staff were not professional but will try to help u as much as possible.

Safe place to stay for family, friends, individuals as well.. situated at heart of the city. Near by shops are accessible by walking distance. Very good staff. Parag at front office is an decent , helpful and an amazing guy

Rooms are ok but bedsheet, bedspread and pillows are very dirty. It seems like not even washed.
