Hotel Kumar Plaza - Hotel in Matheran - Raigad, India

This was my first trip to Matheran and like any travellers, I was so confused and very cautious about my stay because I am very particular about hygiene and quality of service. Kumar plaza, I would not say stand upto expectations honestly considering the location we should always keep in mind that we cannot expect highest quality. Overall it was good, food is awesome they served buffet for all 3 meals and taste was above average(with lots of options) they have also arranged small evening events so guest can spent their time well. For kids also they have arranged games and musical night for everyone. The Disco is superb did not expected that. Over all this place is worth the amount we have paid for. The only request to upgrade the room service (basic toiletries should he provided tooth brush, toothpaste, comb ) can charge for this if required Otherwise I would give 100% for their staff, all were so alert and quick and very friendly.

Everything in room was amazing,basic utilities were there and rooms are clean and beautiful.Food was fantastic,and they do serve as per our tastes.The swimming pool was also very nice and my children enjoyed every evening the programs and games carried out there.And had awesome holidaying experience here at Kumar plaza

The great place to enjoy at matheran, very delicious food items and Activities such as DJ, live music,Gaming all are on time & memorable & joyful, staff is also very co-operative and owner is also damn supportive, overall service & experience is excellent, they had provided me after service also I had forgotten my earpods in room itself, they had cordinate & to handover it to me, Really appreciate, must visit & explore l, Thanku

The double bed rooms are quite spacious. The staff is co-operative. The food is very nice and tasty. There are other activities like Swimming Pool, Karaoke, Musical Chair, Housie and Dance floor which they offer free of cost which make the vacation memorable. I personally have came here for 6-7 times in 3 years time span.

The welcome drink is orange in color but actually a complete sugar syrup mixed water. They dont keep toothbrush, they will only provide 2 bottles of water for 2 people. You have to describe the need of regular drinking water and then only his majesty the great would provide approval, otherwise you need to keep on buying the bottled water. The hotel looks cheap. Not specious. Small kiddie pool is there. Bad smell everywhere. Washroom drain doesn't work. Hot water is a complete scam, as after opening the tap I have found muddy brown water running from it. Overall, bad place, worst service. I wish the hotelier all possible bad luck from the bottom of my heart!

Just an amazing experience, - Near the market - clean rooms - amazing staff - amazing food - great entertainment activities Just a small piece of advice, - please keep the stairs mat in place, anyone can fall - Keep some tissues in the room & extra toilet roll must be there in the washroom - And Lastly provide 24-hour hot water Rest was fantastic, surely gonna visit again

Rooms were ok but the blankets were smelling so bad, landlines were also not working, Hot water facility is only available from morning 8am to 10am in such cold weather. Even after our checkout time was 12 noon, still they asked us to leave @10am. They don't even know how to treat their customers. The prices of rooms we paid were not even worth it after all this.

I don't like the food at all. rooms are not maintained and flaws cover with wooden blocks. staff is not friendly and looks very sad. very awful experience and not worth for money.Don't waste your money. Naam bade or darshan chote = Kumar plaza .We shift to Radha heritage resort which was great experience for us.
