I had lunch from this hotel on my recent trips to Kottayam. Must say the staff is very good and food they serve is really nice and tasty. Tried thaly meals, pothichoru and chicken items. All were good and they serve hot. See if you can reduce a bit on the pricing of the dishes.
Had a very horrible experience with this hotel management. I have booked a room for 27th and 28th of this month and paid the advance amount. They have forcibly cancelled my room without my permission, saying some unprofessional reasons. When I called the reception to inquire, they were very rude. I'm very disappointed to say that the hotel staff response towards this issue was very poor. They are totally unprofessional. This is not inline with the commitment the hotel management assure to us while we booking the rooms. we expect Kottayam Grand Hotel to have few professional team to support their customers. Please do the needful action to fix this issue, otherwise we will have to find the alternate solutions.
New, Nice and really Neat restaurant. Excellent service by staff, exquisite Food combined with great ambience. They make effort in seeing customer satisfaction. Really wish and hope that they continue this good service.

From what I have heard it's a very new hotel. We stopped in for lunch and the food was good. However the service was very slow. It's likely because of how new the restaurant is so I would expect that it continues to improve. The decor and the location is good with sufficient parking.
It is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Kottayam itself with good parking facilities, room availability and facilities for small functions are arranged here.
