Hotel King's Dalhousie - Hotel in Dalhousie - Chamba, India

We stayed in the Hotel Kings for 2 nights and 3 days. It was a comfortable stay in the hotel. My observations are as follows: 1. The hotel staff, especially Mr. Pradeep Sharma, are very polite and helpful. 2. The room service is fantastic. 3. The location is perfect. It is a walkable distance from Gandhi Chawk which is the central location of Dalhousie. 4. Though the food quality is good, it may further be improved as per the taste of the guests. 5. Overall it is a good hotel with reasonable charges. I recommend this hotel to all who are looking for the above things.

Value for money. Good location, Very near to Gandhi Chowk, You don't have to climb stairs to reach hotel. Food is excellent but you have to inform at least 40 mins before as they prepare fresh food. Staff is cooperative. Rooms are clean with very basic amenities.There is no Balcony but a common open sitting area . Parking is available. Most importantly they have a small shop too for daily needs.

Room were ok. But food was very good. Also rooftop is one of the best things in the hotel. Service staff is very nice and supportive. Service, food and roof top.

Very nice hotel with nice view compared to other hotels at this location. Room service is also very good. Would definitely come back next time.

First Of All Wifi Was Not Working At All Which Was Disappointing And Disgusting As I Had To Spend Lots Of Extra Money On Buying Data For Me And My Kids For 5-6 Days Which Was A Burden Too As Room Was Expensive Too, Also There Was No Fan In The Room Although I Was Expecting It In A Deluxe Room As Shown In The Room Pictures Room Was Spacious But It Was Overpriced Too, TV Was Working With Cable Channels Which I Don't Watch Because It Was Not A Smart Tv, Also Because Of No Fan And Ventilation And No View Room, There Were Lots Of Mosquitoes In The Room Which I Hate A Lot And They Were Biting All The Time Making Us Inconvenient, Room Had An Extra Bed For Third Person, But There Was No Exhaust Fan In Washroom Which Was Very Basic Amenity Missing, Food Was Tasty But Expensive Too With Limited Options Available Only All Day, Room Service Was Very Slow And Nobody Came By Themselves To Clean And Wash The Room And Washroom In My Five Days Of Stay, Room Was Big But Badly Maintained, No Local Shuttle Service Was Provided By Hotel Staff, Hotel Location Was Nice With Two Big Terraces Too But It Had A Noisy Atmosphere In The Night Time Too. Overall An Average Hotel Experience As A Family Trip For Me And My Kids

Room service is outstanding. Food quality is very good. But drink sealed bottle water only. Spring water is not so hygienic specially in Dalhousie Area.

False information/images floated on goibibo and google. I booked Delux room with mentioned size as 225 sq ft but was initially allotted a 120 sq ft room. After hot debate they gave 225 sq ft room. The images displayed just do not correspond to actual scenario. The pathway walls had major seepage. Moreover they arranged a high end DJ system in open facing our room with whole lot of noise bursting our ears. Even on requesting the DJ banged music for almost 3.5 hours, The next day same story repeated. We came there for peace and tranquility but all waste. We cancelled 2nd day of our booking and moved to another hotel.
