Hotel Kings Calicut - Hotel in Kozhikode - Kozhikode, India

After corona this place don't have that glory which they used to have before. Hotel is not maintained properly. Room and bathroom are very small. Just okay place. They have a small parking area and there is a pay and park area near by and we don't have to pay extra to park there, hotel will give us a slip. This area is very near to market and SM street.

The location is good and close to the markets and beach. Except for that, there's nothing good about this. Parking is small. Rooms are very tiny for the price. The staff is not so friendly. Our room had a damp smell to it. Hot water is solar powered, which means it will not be available in winter and rainy seasons when you actually need it. There is no backup for both water and the reception was not even apologetic about it. Wouldn't recommend staying here. You can find better places for a lower price around here.

Kings Calicut is situated 100 metre from Palayam bus stand and 800 metre from Calicut railway station. It's completely surrounded by Palayam market where yoy can get everything. Good hotels are available nearby till late night. Moreover the hotel provides a menu from which you can get delicious food. Hotel ambience is quite good, reception is managed well. Room had some dust when I reached and the staffs were very helpful in all aspects.

I have booked Delux AC room for one night, family stay of 2 Adults & 1 Child at Rs 2700 .Below are unsatisfactory reasons. 1) Room and Bathroom smelled bad, which was slightly corrected only after raising concern 2) Only 1 towel & 1 water bottle was provided for 3 people 3) Door Key was not working properly, we have to call service person everytime to lock & unlock 4) All service person are North Indians, know only Hindi and no English. 5) No Hot water availability in bathroom 6) Bad Customer service and worst attitude at Reception by the Manager 7) No prior information on Non availability of Hot water in bathroom at booking time 8) If concerns raised, manager asked to checkout at 10 pm. 9) No value for Money. 10 ) It's not a fake news and real experience. Good thing is Beach and Railway station near. Hope Owner would look in to basic amenities and take actions on Manager attitude at front office to get positive feedback's. There should be other good hotels for a pleasant stay in Calicut.

I made a Good choice by selecting this Hotel for my stay. Nice staff and well maintained premises makes the stay comfortable. Room service is also available and even I selected the standard AC room, it has enough space with an office chair near the wall desk.

A moron sitting at the reception. A man with zero quality of service. Management please check with your workers who deal with the customers to be atleast polite.

This hotel is budget friendly. It has access to many places nearby. Well cleaned and well maintained . I would suggest all to stay here for a budget stay .

Not bad Bathroom window was not covered so that outsiders can easily view. I use bath towel to cover it. Bcoz morning I noted this issue. From AC small ice bars was fell down. Staffs are very cooperative and helpful So kindly check the room and bathroom before check in.
