Hotel Khalsa & Restaurant - Hotel in Pachmarhi Cantt - Hoshangabad, India

Had been here for lunch as this is one of the few restaurants in Panchmarhi which serves non vegetarian food. However, the time taken to serve the food is very long. The chicken dishes that we had ordered were decent - not too bad, not too good. Cleanliness of the place - not up to the mark. This place also had resort rooms for stay, but seeing the condition of the restaurant, i would not want to stay in their resort.

I recently had the displeasure of staying at Hotel Khalsa, and I must say that it was one of the most unhygienic and appalling experiences I have ever had. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with an overwhelming stench that seemed to linger in the air. It was clear that cleanliness was not a priority for the staff at this establishment. Upon check-in, I was assigned a room that was far from satisfactory. The sheets on the bed were stained and clearly hadn't been changed or washed in a long time. The pillows and blankets were dusty and had a musty odor. It was evident that no effort had been made to prepare the room for a new guest. The bathroom was even worse. The toilet had not been properly cleaned, and there were hairs and stains on the floor. I immediately approached the front desk to request a change of room or a refund, as I couldn't bear the thought of staying in such unsanitary conditions. However, the hotel staff was unhelpful and indifferent to my concerns. They claimed that all the other rooms were occupied and that they were unable to provide me with a clean room. I was shocked by their lack of professionalism and unwillingness to accommodate their guests. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to refund me the amount of Rs 2000, even though I had checked in but hadn't spent a single night in their dreadful establishment. This lack of refund policy only adds insult to injury and highlights the hotel's complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at Hotel Khalsa to think twice before booking a room. The unhygienic conditions, coupled with the apathetic attitude of the staff and their refusal to refund even when failing to provide a clean room, make this hotel a nightmare to stay in. Save yourself the disappointment and find a more reputable and clean establishment for your accommodation needs.

Food Price was very high Food quality was very poor Feels like Provided food was 2- 3 days older it was smelling and rotten. Also authorities was not accepting their mistake of their bad food.

Very slow service, ordered naan and rotis, piece of coal was found in them while eating which was pathetic ! We ordered veg kofta and paneer angara which was costly but very low quantity, veg kofta was served first but rotis were not served they served it after 10 mins that too after asking, till that time veg kofta lost its temperature, it became cold and was not even tasty. Veg Biryani was not even biryani it was tava pulao it was totally dry only white rice was visible masala was absent. Very slow and poor service, very high cost, also food is not even tasty.

Worst service ever, then owner was really ignorant and rude, would never suggest anyone to visit the place.

We went there for dinner. Don't know why have they not shut down the restaurant yet! One of the most pathetic, unhygienic, absolutely worst service. I haven't visited such a disgusting place in my entire life. Don't know where to start from. They served us stale chicken tikka which was frozen and kept for years I guess. When asked for roti, it was all mud in the mouth. We then requested for curd which was again stale & sour. It was also frozen and kept. Frustrated to the core, we requested to meet the manager who very shamelessly avoided us. There was mouth fresher kept at the reception which had ants all over... Like who keeps stale mouth- freshner at the reception. This shows they care a damn about the service, ambience and food. Investing even 10 Rs is not worth. Never ever refer anyone! S Sinha

The hotel was disgusting, the room size was OK but the bedsheets, pillow cover, blanket were too dirty and stained even after asking for new bedsheet the new one they provided was also stained and dirty. The window of room was damaged we got injured while opening and closing it. Let's come to bathroom - the bathroom was horrible there were so many cockroaches in bathroom, the geyser was leaking in one room. We exchanged one room due to bathroom issue but still the other room's bathroom has water problem also the Toilet seat was broken. And the Drinking Water - they provide water in open Jugs how unhygienic that is.

good. It being one of the few restaurants in Pachmarhi to serve non veg, we hopped in. The taste of every dish was quite good though it was a little bit pricey.
