Hotel Kesar Palace deserve 3 star Rating Will justify the rating given above by sharing the real time experience which will help you to choose this hotel as your destination. Checked In a super deluxe room for 2 days stay in 2017 Day 1 Observed that room alloted to us does not have the following things operational. 1. Direct extension not working and didn't got repaired. 2. Tata sky was not recharged. We have to request the staff to get it activated. Even after the activation the quality is very poor. 3. Geyser in Washroom was not operational and they were unable to fix it. However they helped us use washroom of other vacant room. 4. Room does not have tea and coffee maker and safe locker as mentioned in make my trip page. The attended were not available on reception most of the time. Unethical staff - when asked for price of water bottle to our surprise he said Rs 20 which is Rs 5 more then the printed price ie Rs 15. But when we told him that illegal he agreed to sell on MRP. Good About hotel 1. Rooms & surrounding were neat and tidy. Although the bucket and mug in washroom is not clean. 2. Good view from balcony. 3. Comfortable furniture. Chair and bed. 4. Good behavior always courteous towards us. 5. Felt safe with family. 6. Food Quality is good. 7. On request they had given complimentary drop to Railway Station. Appreciated it. So finally I would recommend you to choose this hotel. Even though there are some issues but they can be ignored and the hotel staff may improve upon it.

The hotel is not at all looks like a hotel. The ground floor and the first floor of the building is owned by education institute and constitutes of classrooms and practical laboratories. Even at the second floor, where the hotel exactly is.. there are many students living in small rooms. Seems more like a HOSTEL !! The rooms are used as hotel only because to earn money. They don't have attendants. Rooms:- Rooms are very small and bathrooms ridiculously small. You can't even sit on the commode. The area is too less. Cleanliness:- Washrooms are not clean and seems like used as hostel washrooms. Service:- We asked for a bottle of water and that came after 3 hours. Nobody sits at the reception for almost all the time. You have call on their personal numbers to ask for something. We asked to clean the bathroom and nobody came. amenities:- No cold water. Perhaps they are not ready for summer. Even the water was not available in the washroom. and when we asked, they said it will come after half an hour. that too didn't came. Only came after 4 hours. Safety:- As i told earlier, nobody sits at the reception for almost all the time. and the ground floor and the first floor remains empty all the time. So, i don't think this is secure. Overall:- Strictly not recommended. For family, not even when extremely needed.

Here people are good & co-operative, location is also good but the hotel is not clean as much we assume, bathroom is also not so clean you spend a night for rest but for not more then 1 night.

Word of advice : Don't go to kesar Palace. It's worse than even those cheap Dharamshalas out there. Sheer waste of money..

It is not a hotel any more, it is an ITI college now. Not a good experience to find this place
