It's a good old property, maintained decently. The room is spacious and is approx 2 times size the normal rooms available at other places. The tarrif is decent. It's not a plush state of the art brand new one, but it has its own charm.

The rooms at the hotel were clean and well-maintained. My accommodation was spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable environment for relaxation. The location and price has to be the best things about this property. This is a 20-year old hotel in Urwa area in Mangalore which is actually the mid-point of all the famous tourist sites and also all the must visit restaurants. It took me not more than 30 mins to reach the farthest site in my itinerary which was about 17 km. Plus this is an area filled with hustle-bustle and vehicles so feel comfortable roaming around late in this area. The room size is big compared to the price you give. I gave Rs800 + 12% GST = Rs896/day which is very cheap given the room size and bathroom size and facilities the room has. Not something super extra-ordinary but yeah total value for money. The staff is super-friendly and they do house clean-up every morning which is also good. They have free Wi-Fi but it is not that good quality. A few things are not that of a bummer. Firstly they charge a whopping Rs25/cloth for laundry which is a bit high. Secondly, I spotted a few cockroaches while in my stay in the bathroom and near the bed. The room has a somewhat dingy and damp smell and feels even if you open the windows. Thirdly, the staff seems to not remember your room number no matter how many times you say that. I had to say my room number 6 times on different occasions which is a bit weird. Lastly, they had some window issues fixed up by a carpenter while I was in the room (although with my permission) which is not professional. All fixing and clean up should be completed before the guest's arrival. All in all it is a good property but if they can fix these minor issues, it will be one of the best value for money properties in Mangalore.

The room smells bad, towels and bedsheets are not properly cleaned. The AC makes noise. Even there are bed bugs. etc.

Nice, quiet place at a close distance from the heart of the city - the rooms are very spacious, neat and the staff are very helpful. They also are very supportive in arranging taxi for the staff. However, there are a couple of things they can do to improve - (a) Operate the built-in restaurant instead of depending on the one in the next building. (b) Start keeping a bottle of water along with the glasses in the rooms. (c) Try changing the towel and (d) Start placing a toothpaste along with the shampoo and mini-soap in the bathrooms. Short but good stay - looking forward to come back and see it as a better place.

The manager was rude, he didn't offer charging for EV vehicle, even though I offered to pay.( i had the charging kit and energy meter to track cost).. he declined and later called saying he will allow to charge, he took back his words again saying some reason(crazy attitude). While I understand this is a new concept but being professional is expected. So EV owners.. call and check if they allow charging... they have AC points outside(15Amps) which can be used for charging using junction box....
