Though place is near to Sambalpur City (SBPY) railways station, unethical price hike during checkout made the overall staying experience worst. 1. No proper room cleaning service (1/5) 2. Wash basin floors are dirty. (1/5) 3. Poor room service (1/5) 4. Intercome & DTH are not working. One need to step out from room to ask for room service. (1/5) 5. Most of the showers & water taps are dripping 24/7. Quite annoying (1/5) 6. Room charges are very as compared to quality, facilities & service (1/5) 7. Front desk staffs are having demographic feeling, which is disatisfying. We travelled to Hotel Kaveri with 6 adults & a 10yrs kid, booked 6 occupancy family room 3000/- per night and 300/- additional occupancy for kid. We stayed their for 2 nights and during checkout they charged 1200/- for additional occupancy without providing extra beds. Note: Cross-check and discuss in details before checking, of you are traveling with friends, family or couple. Hotel looks okay outside, located along side of Bombay Highway but overal experience was worst.
Worst place for function reservations. Once you make the payment they won't show any cooperation with any issues. They don't even provide basic necessities like electricity for specific arrangements. Zero maintenance and staff is also inefficient just like the owner. Better make reservations in other available mandaps in Sambalpur. Keep this as your last option.
Not so good. Rooms are near and clean but not well-maintained. Walls plaster has come off. Tv not working. No soap, oil or toothpaste is given. The bathroom is dirty. From the outside it is good looking but inside it's not up to our expectations. Service is somehow good. I expected a bit more professionalism in service and all.
Won't recommend to book this place for any functions. The owner is completely business minded. Once the booking is done, they won't listen to any complaints, requirements, services or anything. No electricity back up.
Lost the glory. At one point of time it was one of the prime properties of Sambalpur. Poor maintenance, rooms are dingy, stinking toilet, hopeless linen and furnishing. Still room rent are on the higher side
This hotel is not giving anything in complementary. Even not one bottle of water also. After check-in usually other hotels give breakfast and one water bottle as complementary. But this hotel charged around Rs. 1700/- per day per head. I visited alone. The blanket they provided was a used one. Had bad smell from the blanket and dirty. The towel also was a used one. I asked for change but they told, now not possible. Only after 10 am they can change. I reached there around 3.30 am. Cleanliness wise it was good.
Great property in ainthapali square. U can stay also food is superb. Always great experience received at this hotel... Staff also politely deals.
