Hotel Kasturi Palace & Restaurant - Hotel in Darjeeling - Darjeeling, India

The communication of the hotel employees is not good because the employees tell a lot of lies. I stayed in a hotel last 16th November where I was charged one price at check-in and another at checkout. And many problems have to be faced with GST billing. And the problem is more in restaurants if you order a food and if you are late to eat it, then they heat the food later There is no chatter in the room, the TV is not working, the recharge is finished, if it recharges, it runs for 2 hours and then it turns off. Staying in this hotel in off season is just a waste of money in my opinion for the price of the room.

!Honest Review! Please do not stay here with your family or friends. Hotel owner will threaten you. The Hotel staff was good but the the owner of the hotel Swaraj is a theif. We stayed there for 2 days and we took car for sightseeing from Swaraj. At the time of checkout the hotel staff didn't reminded or provided the cab bill. And we went to Pelling. NOW SWARAJ is calling me and threatening me for Rs 3000/-. I politely told him that in pelling I was having network issue. I also told him that we have paid 2000/- extra at your hotel and will return back home and pay the rest of the amount from proper network coverage area. But the started threatening me and my dad that that I have to I'd proff and will come to your place and take moneyfrom you, if you don't pay the amount and started talking to us in a vulgar language. This is the treatment of the Hotel Owner's Son Swaraj. Misbehaved alot with tourists. Will never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel with family. Food was also third class. Service is also late. Humble request to all please do not book this hotel.

Budget hotel, although everything is pricy during peak season. We stayed here as more well known ones were already full or extremely surged price. Main drawback in current Darjeeling is it is 1-2 km away from center. In most places this won't matter but Darjeeling traffic has become a nightmare and this does impact depending on your plans. The staff is extremely courteous and attends with care and tries their best. Rooms are good for its range, nice view from terrace. Overall a solid budget hotel unless your main priority is visiting mall every evening

The hotel is good, specially the staff was very generous and helped to alot to arrange and prepare my kids food. The management is also very good, I would like to say thanks to these 2 staffs Simul and Rewaz for their generosity. Just the location is somewhat not in proper for a tourist but you can get share taxis and travel.

Hi Everyone I highly Recommend this hotel Don't Book this hotel I take 11 rooms for 2 days and kitchen and dinning including Kitchen and we paid for 3k per Day after we 2 days Asking for 1k for Cleaning process Fees Some Staff People Behaviour is not well there's is no response from the hotel staff We paid full amount before check in after 1 day Change room big room to small room. Don't book this hotel

Nice hotel, perfect room, supportive staff. I stayed in room with 3 beds. Room was very specious, beautifully decorated and with excellent bed mattress. All required facilities were available. Just 200 meter walk and you will reach national highway. You can get sharing taxi with just 15 Rs to reach to chowk market. Staff at reception was very nice and friendly. From room window, you will see excellent view of Darjeeling. Hotel manager Mr Swaraj is just a phone call away. Tip for customer: - If you are planning for early checkout ( like 6 AM), inform reception a night before. They will give you mobile number of morning shift staff. That will help you in carrying your luggage and opening the main door.

Not a good hotel, Don't look for this hotel staff manager is just like snake they stole my stuffs and refuse that they have my stuff.

Room was okay, had a great view of Mt. Kanchanjangha from the hotel room. Service was good and staffs were courteous. All foods in the menu were not available and food had to be ordered by 6 PM for dinner, taste and quality was fine. The location was a bit away from MAL.
