Worst room never ever seen this kind of rooms. Worst family room, they collected 2000 for ac family room(4 bed) but no cooling ac, bathroom worst, even no proper lights in room and bathroom, while asking reception person said only online booking will give nice rooms because they will give rating, for direct room we will give worst rooms only, but the thing is online booking rooms also looks worst, , I won't recommend this.

Lies along side the main road. Need to walk one floor by stairs and then we can cover the rest of the floors by lift. Thats how it was designed. Room are available at affordable price. Have quite good parking facilities. Can park 3 or 4 cars in the morning and at night can park 7 to 8 cars. We have a veg restaurant in the ground floor which is one of the famous shops in Kumbakonam.

A disfunctional management process meant that we were at first refused a room despite a confirmed booking. The owner, who is far away, sends screenshots of the booking lists to the staff and apparently sometimes bookings get lost that way. Staff was very friendly and helpful. After we had finally gotten a room, the owner wanted to speak to us about the issue and apologized which is appreciated. However, he let us wait for over 20 minutes at 11pm in the night, during which time the poor receptionist was sitting in our room waiting for his boss to call us on his phone. We just wanted to sleep. Rooms are clean and OK, AC needs maintenance.

Decent rooms with Clean restrooms. 24 hours check in/out available. Close to the bus stand, railway station and kumbakonam temples. The restaurant next to the lodge offers decent south Indian food which makes this place a complete comfort package.

Passable for last minute stay. 1250 per night for ac single standard room, for which I would expect cleaner rooms, better ventilation and basic things like handwash, soap, toilet rolls, bottle of water etc. Nothing made available. Location is good, but VERY noisy as it's right in middle of market. Hotel gowrikrishna is a saving grace and all other stuff available within 100mts is a big plus. Look at hotel room pics I posted. OK for family stay only if you don't have any other choice or availability.

Old and untidy rooms. No remotes for AC/TV No service persons. No intercom to call reception

AC Not working, poorly maintained beds & bed sheets, dirty wash rooms. Lots of mosquitoes. Worst management of Bookings. Don't recommend this place for families at all

A nice good place to stay with family and friends. The rooms are decent and have basic stuff like a cot and and an attached bathroom. Don't expect modern stuff like kettle or oven. They have room service until 11pm and can get vegetarian stuff from the restaurant on the ground floor. There is a bar attached, however bit has a different access than that of the hotel. There is ample parking space for cars and can be accessed from the rear gate also. Note that the parking and the hotel are both not wheelchair friendly. The lift in the hotel only connects the lobby in first floor with the rooms in the above two floors.
