Hotel Kanchan Palace - Hotel in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

The hotel is very affordable and the staff is also quite good. The only problem i faced is that there is no hot shower and the basin faucet in my room didn't worked. I am not sure about the hot shower issue as i never asked the reception, maybe they do provide if asked. Overall it is good as the hotel is very affordable and it is very much in the city with nearby restaurants, bars etc. and the room and bed and toilet was also quite clean.

I had booked 3 rooms in this hotel last weekend. This is the worst hotel i have ever seen in my life. staff were terrible, The owner sitted at front desk was worst and did not cooperate with us. No early check-in allowed by owner inspite of rooms were available. Rooms are of worst quality, AC is faulty, very dirty and damaged, Beds and entire rooms have lots of bugs in it, mess in the middle of a messy location, very very dirty kitchen with lots of garbage in it, ceiling fans are damaged and very dirty. Very loud noise came from road vehicles due to improper closing of windows. Very dirty washrooms, dirty blankets. Entrace and outer look of a hotel is very horrible. This is the worst hotel of udaipur. Please dont stay here ever. I have shared room and hotel pictures here.

This place is in the main market which is a good thing. We a got an AC room for just 1000 rupees per night which is cheaper than most of the other hotels. The hotel room was decent. The bedsheets were a bit dirty but we managed to get them replaced. They did not gave us any towels, we literally had to ask for everything. They did gave us what we asked for. Things like tea, room freshener, mosquito coil, soap, etc. Our AC was a window AC, so it did made some noises which were distributing. But at such a price you can't really expect much. But if you want a hotel right in the middle of the city at cheap rate, then i would recommend you this. Otherwise there are some really nice hotels near the lakes.

The hotel is easily accessible as well as visible from the main road. The staff talks in a polite manner and is quite helpful. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned daily. Hathipole and surajpole are at a walking distance from the hotel. Overall a 4 out of 5.

I am not saying this hotel is good, but its value for money. They also have included breakfast which they serve in the room. There is a bar available in the basement which is not recommended for families but guys will definitely enjoy it. This hotel is in the centre of the city so all the places are near. They have their parking space beside the road, which is safe no worries. There are different non veg restaurants available near this hotel. Hotel also has their own kitchen and rates are also very minimal. If i visit Udaipur, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I mean what else do you want at this cost man.

Affordable hotel, if you're planning for a normal budget in udaipur then definitely you should be here.... No wardrobe inside rooms only one thing it needs to improve. Everything is perfect such as big space, furniture, washroom and hotel service. Just improve cupboard system to let us stay easily. Without cupboard it was weird.

Location wise a very good place. Rooms are also big and the only problem is they are not changing the bedsheets and pillow cover regularly. Also the room service is a bit slow and they only provide a liter of water for the whole day and every time you have ask for more water.

Hotel location is very good near Delhi gate circle. Rooms are very old style. Services are good. There is no restaurant in hotel but they provide some basic good items like omelet, bread's etc.
