Hotel Kalinga - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

I travelled to Puri with my family of 6 members+ 1 child on 23-11-23. I booked 2 family rooms @7500 total price for two nights . Each of the rooms has two king size beds accommodating 4 persons . Ac work nicely.Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Hot water is available 24 hrs. Room service is nice. Provide unlimited filtered botteled drinking water free of cost.Staff and manager is nice and humble.Overall ambience is excellent Panda for darshan is available at nominal charge @250-500 for a group of 10 people Cons :: lift not working Cattle for tea not provided 5km away from temple Light in rooms not sufficient Towels slippers and other accessories not provided Overall 4.3/5 score.Go for it

Staff behavior & co-operation is excellent. Wifi didn't work during my stay. The hotel is close to Golden Beach , 5kms away from Swagadwar . The beach is visible from the roof. Usually auto toto takes 70-100 to reach Swargadwar/Puri hotel& 100 rs to reach Puri station. Hotel has AC restaurant, food is moderate and medium ranged.

Rooms were cozy, bed was hard though. Staff is very polite and the food at their restaurant is delicious and not very expensive. Situated 4km from Jaganath Puri temple.

The hotel has good reception contacts who provided route and always pleasant and supportive.on the flip side- no food/ snacks between 4-8pm which can be improved. Location is remote- require to take auto to go to beach.

Jitendra at the reception all staff very nice people, room service is also fast: I stayed for 3 days, daily room cleaning, bedsheets changed, dusting done Very nice people but from the hotel to the beach 700 meters. Prabhu Jagannath Temple is 4 kilometers away. Railway station distance is 2 kms. Gundicha Maa Temple 3 km. Hotel Kalinga 1 Good Choice

The attendant was opening the door immediately after a knock without our permission, knowing that female guests are there. However, the Manager was very helpful and arranged for all transport facilities. He even got the AC fixed on our request and converted our room to AC at nominal rates. Overall the rooms were clean, good room service and nice stay. But only disadvantaged bus that it is a bit far from the beach.

The hotel is situated at CT Road. The Swargadwar beach is far away but the new beach is quite nearer. The new beach is okay for bathing. You can see the sea from the 2nd floor of the hotel itself. Overall location is very good. Auto , toto is always available just in front of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean. The staffs are very helpful and quick responsive. Food is also homely and tasty. Overall service is very good.

Staff was quite cooperative and well behaved. The room was same as shown in pictures. Super deluxe room was clean and AC was working properly. Safe locality, autorickshaw easily available for visiting temple etc. Bus stand, station, beach all within 3-4km radius
