HOTEL JYOTI DWELLING - Hotel in Mumbai - Mumbai Suburban, India

Had a friend who had an early morning flight. So offered to help him put some luggage in the room and spend an hour at the hotel to make it easier to travel to the hotel. The hotel reception guard, however, was arguing with us at 4AM in the morning about not allowing a single person in for just an hour. He literally said that it's not his problem and we would have to get out of the hotel. This was extremely poor service and rude behavior from the management side. Extremely dissatisfied with this hotel. Would not recommend.

Nice hotel located in Andheri East. Location is nice and the room was also satisfactory. They have a nice restaurant in-house and serve food round the clock (even have a midnight menu). Smoking is allowed (in the washroom) and they also allow you to bring liquor and store it in the room refrigerator. Guests are not allowed to be in the room post 9pm and the hotel is quite strict about this. Overall was a pleasant stay and I did not run into any problems.

Pathetic, Disgusting, Unprofessional, and Scary! These are the best words I can use to describe my experience at Jyoti Dwelling. I am not sure if these people even understand the word 'Hospitality!' I stayed there for a night for office visit. Let's begin with Check-in. I waited for an hour for check-in. (Requested early-check-in but they couldn't manage. That's understandable.) During the wait time, they did not even care to offer a glass of water or some refreshments! That's a most fundamental curtesy you can show! After I checked in, they took 20-25 min to get my luggage to the room! I had to call twice for that. Another blunder in service. When I entered the bathroom, no towels were available. I had to call 4-5 times and they took 30 min to bring the towels! Really? This is the most concerning and disturbing part. When I left the hotel, the manager insisted to take drop my keys at the reception, which I was surprised to see. But I gave the keys and to my surprise, around 4:30 I get a call that they have shifted my belongings to another room without taking my permission! They said some electrical issue, they have moved my stuff! That's illegal, unprofessional and scary. The worst part is yet to come! When I reached the hotel, I found that 3-4 of my belongings were missing and when I called them, the staff was reluctant to help and insisted that they have shifted everything. After consistently pushing them, the house-keeping staff somehow found two of my belongings and I found out later that one more bag is still missing. And here the worst part comes. The next day, I went to reception asking them to find and bring the missing bag from yesterday's room. And they denied on my face that I haven't been shifted to any other room. After they called their night staff, they agreed that they moved my room, but the stuff was shifted in my presence and with my permission. Their night manager lied on my face! Two people on the reception got aggressive on me, even though I was suffering due to their third-class service. After a long wait, one of the staff on the reception went up on the room floor and found my missing bag. Yet, there was no sign of apology. Which was too surprising for me! The only thing which I can say was alright was their breakfast. It was decent. 3.5 stars for breakfast. The rooms were clean, but it's an age-old property and you might find something broken or not working properly in your room for sure. So, 2.5 stars for room. I wish I could give negative stars for their service and hospitality. I would not recommend anyone to even think of booking this hotel.

We had a very pleasant and positive experience staying at Jyoti Dwelling. The breakfast was awesome, the staff was quite courteous and helpful. Overall, we were very happy with everything this hotel had to offer!

Located on main road. Very good hotel. Cleanliness is very good. Food is also very good. Breakfast and dinner are available with many options. This hotel is 7 storey building in height

Very nice hotel near Solitare business park, located on the main road. Good breakfast as well. Would stay here again and recommend others.

I had one day stay at Hotel on my official visit. I had nice experience. Room was spacious, clean and service by staff was quick.
